Razor takes the credits nods back takes a look at the kid and smiles, then looks at Jackson, and then at the woman, then calls for the waiter and says "One strong drink." - "Coming right up sir." he takes another good look at the kid smiles again, his drink arrives he thanks the waiter and tips him, he got Bretonian Scotch one of his favorites, takes a sip, calls for the waiter again "Sorry i forgot could you run to the store quickly i need some cigars, not some cheap ones either." the waiter replied "No problem sir." he takes another sip from his drink while looking at the kid.
Ace watches Jackson leave... Yeah he knew how Sarah was... He knew how her and Jack were too...
That doesn't matter know though. Ace's spins around in his chair, and catches Razor, GLaDoS, and that strange kid, in his eye, before he turns back to the bar.
He reaches into his jacket, unpins his Wingleader Insignia, and sets in on the counter, thumbing it... Looking at its color...
Gold... Ace's continues to stare at his insignia, thinking... Not even realizing he left his favorite possession back at the table with Razor and GLaDoS...
GLaDoS looked at Ace. He seemed troubled. She noticed his Rubix cube on the table, and picked it up, walking over to him. Tapping him on the shoulder, she placed it down on the table.
:You'll need this. You always need something to take your mind off of heavier thoughts:
A million dollars isn't cool. You know what is cool? A basilisk.
She smiled.
:I know how much it means to you...i didn't. Whereas my curiousity rules me most of the time, i am not one to do foolish things:
GLaDoS checked her watch, smiling.
:I need to go...hope that the cube helps you with whatever you're dealing with:
She spun on her heel, and walked out.
A million dollars isn't cool. You know what is cool? A basilisk.
A person hurried in out of the rain. She wears black gloves, a black hooded robe, a pair of jeans and some tall, black leather boots. As she tries to walk in, the guards stop her, and try to lift her hood. GLaDoS, on her way out, spies this. She whispered to each of the guards, slipping them a packet of credit chips each, and walked out, past the person.
The guards move back, letting the woman through, she looks around, but does not show her face in the least, and she shudders, moving to a table, and sitting, hugging herself, obviously freezing. She lets out a quiet gasp, and begins to feel the warmth of the room. The waitress walks up to take her order, and without showing her face, she asks for a coffee.
A million dollars isn't cool. You know what is cool? A basilisk.
