I'm not in the Raiders, yet I took the time to respond to some of the feedback given to them. Not one problem with me doing so and the faction's leader actually thanked me for doing it. He liked having another person's input regarding the issue.
That isn't to say that I've always received welcomes when voicing my opinion, I've been asked to leave feedback threads before also. I've done so when requested.
Having the opinions of a third party far out weighs the problems claim plague the feedback system. Del seems to agree.
Yes, I remember calling you a white knight and I stand by it. You act like you're here for the betterment of the community, but in reality you're only purpose is to sling dirt, mud, and crap at people and factions who've upset you. That is your M.O. and you've done nothing to change people's opinions regarding it. Instead you continue doing things that support people's assertion that, that is your M.O.
Does all of that mean that I think the mod/admin team does a great job at policing the feedback threads for trolling and such? Not in the least. They need to shape up in that regard. Just as they needed to shape up in regards to the bounty board stuff.
I think factions members or leaders can decide which commonts on faction feedback are worthy to pay attention to and which are not by themselves. There is no need for restrictions as it would limit the right for players to express themselves. Even if that might not be totaly relevent to the faction problems or isn't a problem at all.
Well potentially that could just mean that faction members and heads say GTFO to people that disagree with them, whilst giving room to cronies expressing the same views as the faction heads and members. It wouldn't be a first on Disco.
Either restrict it totally (like sanction reports) or leave it completely in the hands of admins and mods to moderate. Those are the only fair solutions, as I see it.

I doubt you understood the point.
It's not to prevent feedback alltogether, it is to prevent uninvolved parties to post.
Something like this should not happen, for example.
Aye, but the discussion has developed since the original post.
I'm all for preveting such events, but if - as it has been suggested in this thread - the faction heads and members are the ones to decide who's to GTFO and who can stay and debate, it is very easily abused (intentionally or unintentionally).
Therefore, I'd say either restrict it completely like sanction threads (only involved parties can post) or leave it to moderators/admins for the sake of fairness.
