Heavy flashpoints are absolutly horrible. 1699 DPS.
Lasers themselves are fine, 2 debs 4 lasers works great! just that any lawful laser is a watercannon . I also thought that , in Vanilla , Lasers were upposed to CONSERVE energy, Not drain it like Dusty on a bar after a bad day.

Walker also said that the light and heavy fighters should go after the gunboats because they were too fast for the cruiser turrets... and yet somehow the fighters weren't too fast for their turrets (especially funny since half the time those gunboats get splatted by Melting Rays when I play that...).
The descriptions of how the weapons and ships related to each other were just plain wrong. Startrackers being "top class high end fighters" is case in point.
This is Discovery, not vanilla... our balance is quite a bit different.
If High refire/low damage/ high drain/ High speed s what they have become...I would like to be able to use the guns I should be using IRP and yet be able to damage something....
