Well, from what I heard from my side, my guys didn't know you were repping but you still shot at them from right next to the battleship while they were sitting 2k away. That's what I've been told.
Now the way I see it is both sides are at fault here. RHA standing orders are to viciously attack RM in Dresden due to ideological value of the system. That's not really going to change. You should have told the Hessian bombers however that you were repping if you wanted to continue to do so, rather than run to the battleship and shoot at them from there without docking, which just made it look like you were trying to force them to leave system instead (which incidentally has been a popular strategy among indies lately, so kind of rightfully so my guys were annoyed). Cause if they cruise away then by server rules they have "died" which makes them unable to re-enter system for 4 hours. And that is kind of lame too.
On the flipside my guys were wrong to go OORP and I told them that, they are fully aware that they did it wrong too.
But next time if you're setting up, tell them that ingame before you get attacked and they should leave you be.
Rhienland news reported that there was some hooligan assualt on Kanzlers property. 4 ships, most propably trying to paint grafiti on Rheinland BS... were spotted by courageous RM officers of the day. The conflict was unavoidable.
Loki and Robert (odin) were taken out in seconds by brave RM bs crew gunners. They served in very hard battle and are now to be honored with medals and applauds ! But, that's not all. A brave man Hans Schpunkel from the Rheinland battleship managed to aim a lethal Battlerazor at Volsung's hull. Yet before all the comrades died one experimental, monkey controlled RM Gunboat, was lost. No one knows the reason.. Rheinland media do not like to talk about it's failures.
Here Eric Heimdall was left alone to fight a shameful battle against the Gott-Kanzler<strike> friends</strike> Heroes. He picked his fellows into the cargo hold, and attempted to lure the cruisser into one on one. The plan succesed. But not for long. Out from desperation, being outnumbered by one Falcata, cruisser captain asked for batttleship to sent reinforcments. One wing of 4 wraith very heavy fighters interpected that socialistic hell spawn named Nidhogg. The fight was fiersome. Drunken from early octoberfest, gunners who served cruisser captain pointlessly played pinyata instead of aiming on that 'communist freak'. Captain had no other option but to order his loyal ship charwomen to take up cotrol of the ship. Yet these blind yelling harrpies could only turn ship back to the BS, were half year too early started octoberfest would be continued. While taking some damage from Papje-mache looking "falcata" class bomber, cruisser entered the shadow of already distinguished in the start of the skirmish RM battleship.
Soon, the gallantic BS gunners fended the red hooligan out of skies. Now cruisser crewmen could drink themselves blind without distrubing.

sir my freind and I merely spoke, then the hessian opened a combat notice and opened fire... i had no guns and no armor in a rhienland gunboat... it only took one hit to take down my hull.
after I died I asked volsung if i could re-enter the system just to complete repping oorply and was proply met with "//NO" after I explained that I was not equiped to fight and just merely repping he further responded with "//I DONT CARE" i repected his word by saying "as you wish" and then i didnt return to system... I still find this unreasonable.
and we were not at fault for this at all, with all due respect we were merely minding our own buisness and with little warning about 5 RHA appeared. we stood near the battle ship just to prevent them from attacking... they attacked anyway... and the battleship killed them anyway. we had full intention of avoiding a fight in OORP... EDIT: the battle ship was only a defensive mesure.. i had no guns afterall. I did not dock as many people frown apon that... and some would consider it "fleeing combat" and I would have to leave system anyway

I'm a little peeved that they would not let my friend stay in system after they one-shoted his GB we were repping up, but its their right, so its cool.
Still, yelling OOC in local at the cruiser and GB for hiding next to a battleship and not coming out to play with 5 bombers, that ruffles my feathers a tic.

But to correct you - two of those Bombers were actually Light / Heavy fighters, new recruits of the RHA without even Razors just going in to get some battle experiance.
In addition you got that Battleship and several Bounty Hunters and Militaries near you - yes, those can be really damaging when you are already evading Battleship's hail of projectiles and only got 5,5k Shield and 15k Hull.
- After all we still all got killed.
I for my part apologize for going 4 on 2 then anyway, shooting your friend was more like:
"darn, what shall we do - that Bship will tear us apart by time, we could either get some distance and wait 'till one of the party "flees" or fight to death like spartans just to ... wait ... hey look that guy has no Amor, darn fool lets try to get that one."
At least as far i understood what was said in the Groupchat.
So, i hope you're not too upset about it, i considered it nice training, though i suddenly died when i got hit at 10m distance to the Battleship.

The first contact was "near" Vogland Base 'round 10-14k? So of course the Hessians have to swarm you when you are kinda threatening us with Capital Ships.
And since i joined the ongoing fight i didn't state much before my engagement, that's true, but i did say more than just contact ^^.

i wasnt complaining about how i wasnt let back in system, I was merely illustraiting the poor sportsman ship... after all we allowed the RHA to re enter the system after they died.

Sorry, that is my bad, I didnt see what all of them were in the heat of battle clearly and assumed they were all bombers by the ammount of snacspam hitting me.
Regardless of what happened in this fight, my only gripe was yelling at us for base-camping in OOC.

The only point of my second post was to show how we did not try to force them out of the system by silly (the 4 hour fleeing) rules.

Well, I see where you are coming from. I spoke my piece about it in the Red Hessian Army chat (mainly the OOC ragebomb). Next time please say when you are repping so that bomber wings can leave alone caps that aren't even fully set up yet.
