Trading is pure fun. Since Xoria have made that complex fun, there are alot of good routes.

People complain always, that trading is ruined, but the truth is:
Trading is that good balanced, that there are no uber-runs like the diamond nobium thing.
We have the best balanced trading system that was created for FL ever.

I dont prefer a special route. I like to cruise from here to there, its less boring.
The only route i do more than rarely is the deuterium run. From Gran Canaria to Ames.

Try multiple stop ones. They are more profitable than A - B and back routes. Or you can join a trading faction. You have to swear your trade routes to secrecy though...

Pirate miners for credits. They make much more than traders, so you can charge them much more than traders. If there are enough miners, it's very profitable. And it's very fun and exciting.

So is that Why you F1 in Mining field and come in every few hours to demand More than what you demand from Traders, from the Miners who didn't even have the chance to run, because you were abusing a Game mechanism? We don't have Cloaking Device in Discovery for a reason! And Fun thing is... even after that, You don't bother moving away from the field... You F1 right there in front of the Miner you just Pirated!

Yea, This sure is your definition of "Fun" and "True Pirating"...

Oh, And for your Info, Mining got nerfed a few weeks ago, Miners now make roughly same profit as Traders... So you'd better reconsider your demands.

Quote me a post of mine where I supported Miners F1ing as soon as a Pirate enters the System.
If you want to Q_Q about my post and picture it as whining 'coz he pirat me', At least Try to do it with valid point, not your usual type of dinocrap.
Both Groups are low, Both the Miners who F1 to get away from Pirate, and the Pirates who F1 in Fields just to have "Easy Cash". (Although I kinda understand the Pirates who F1 to catch the Miner who had F1ed on them, But using it to pirate the Miners who never F1? Nope.)
After all, as I said, We don't have Cloaks in Discovery for a Reason! Then this Hessian GB appears 1k from me and spams a preset which makes me laugh! "Disabling cloaking device!" ... Ye, nice RP, Kudos!

I've been Pirating the Miners as well, And I had an advantage over most other Pirates... I could see the things from the Miners' perspective, so they had a really smaller chance to run away. I knew every tricks they knew, and possible ways to counter it.

But there is a difference between me and you Reacher. You demand a Whole Cargo of Ore and then boast on Forums about how you got a Cap8 from Pirating Miners... I just demand them to sing a song... And you know what's the problem with this "Difference"? I call it, "Different Point of Views", You call it "Right and Wrong"... Thats why I get Kudos from the ones I pirate, and you get Flame threads. Because I go on my Pirate to have Fun, You go on your Pirate to get another Cap8.

Some people like to trade. I liked to pirate, but I've learned my lesson. I pirated so much that I'm sitting on more money than I can handle, and now I find the idea of piracy quite boring.

But for when I do pirate: my original statement, from back when Boss & Kurosura started me on my little campaign of violence, still stands: I will treat miners no worse than the way smugglers are treated.

I've told you before, "They Gank so We'll Gank back" does not justify it.
Sure, Smugglers are being threated as "u! drop cardi (4800) or die! 5 sec!" by certain groups... And you're saying You go up to a Miner and say "u! drop Ore (4800) or die! 5 sec!" Just because you're treating the Miner like that just because one of the members of same NPC Faction does same to your buddy Smuggler?

What makes you better than the one you're trying to picture as someone low then?
