Red hessians can't have caps due to vanilla lore? Ok, but you have quite a few faction to remove the caps from before you get to hessians. I don't think there are enough zoners in vanilla to even crew a BS, let alone buy/make one.
Calling sairs/outcasts 'demi houses' off their lore is disingeuous. It's not like there are 1.5bn of each, or even anything like that (enthusiastic infocard rewrites being ignored, that is).
In fact pretty sure the hessians outnumber the corsairs, at least in the omegas. They're presented as worse pilots, but extremely numerous.
And they're 'winning' the omega war in 801 I believe.
Also even by then hessians are portrayed as shifting beyond/away from political/rheinland concerns and more towards omega/piracy business.
I think you are being a teeny bit guilty of what you are accusing blodo of
Only house militaries should have caps, and even they shouldnt have more then 20 at most. Caps are simply a money-drain. Cost loads to Build, maintain, power and repair. They even cost loads to dismantle. They bring no profit to them due to their impractical size and undeniable presence
no, as of demi house i do not refer to billions of people, at most neither factions should hardly have more then 100-200 millions, most likely even less. Far less in the case of the outcasts which probably have about 50 millions or less due to their reproduction being heavily handicapped.
By vanilla lore, hessians are indeed rumored to be a few millions, they got manpower. not skills.
As for diamonds being their main income, did i not say they were miners? I knew damn well that they got their resources from other places such as the diamond fields you mentioned. But considering blood diamonds being a hessian thing ive always seen it as a equally important faction commodity as cardi/arties, feel free to provide me with lore references proving me wrong.
Also, their miners, they actually have some non-militarized franchise going on, which is why i refer to them being similar to CR.
Both are miners with a military side, fighting a foe they are not capable of beating in a head on fight with no intervention from others. That means, Red hessians, no allies what so ever purely against Corsairs, no allies what so ever.
In such a war, your pro-hessian attitude should know that corsairs will come out victorious. Not without sacrifices, but you too should just realize that they would win unless someone interfered.
The Outcast-Corsair war might be grossly overestimated, but it still matters as it has this little side effect of "whoever backs out will have their attackers at their doorstep". They cant divert their full power to the omegas, they need to keep up the pressure or they will loose that war and inevitably they will fall due to that. The Outcast - Corsair war is as far as ive ever understood it, a question of "power limiting" rather then it being a full out war. However, ingame actions always proved this to be wrong, until now.
As for my "jorm skills". I dont fly a jorm, never flew one never will. I generally dont like flying caps. Their too easy to kill and too hard to go where you want without consequences. I do not fly a legate either.
Regarding vanilla lore, yes most factions say they have the best ships of all, their all biased. Untill i noticed a rumor from a non-sair npc saying something along the lines of "ive seen many fine ships but the corsairs may just have the best there is".
Guilty of personal vendettas, yes.
dubstep, whenever i see you post, it contains some snide remarks aimed at me. Although i do accept that i may be wrong and lacking of Hessian lore, i knew that from the start that i didnt know it to the letter.
However, seeing how snide remarks has gotten quite alot of people banned lately, i advice you to take whatever you have against me to PM's, or shut your trap before the admins catch onto ya. I'd happily discuss whatever you got on your heart in private.
As for the rest of you wanting to discuss my lack of hessian lore, please make a thread somewhere else.
if you want to flame me, please do so on your own accord and do not sully this thread with such immature behavior. We got a place for immaturity called flood, please do take it there.
Plenty of corsairs about, they're in Bretonia daily, drinking beer and wrecking up the place until the inevitable backlash happens. Watched an intense furball the other day, been involved in a few as well. Good times being had by all for the most part.
Saint Del is considered a holy healer of diseases of children, but also as a protector of cattle.

[font=Courier New][color=#C1FFC1]Im terribly sorry that you found my observation of your lack of judgement as a snide comment. I do believe that this is the second topic (not more) in which I made that kind of observation. Although I do -advise- you as well, that you dont throw around the ban remarks so easily, but instead try to answer like a normal, reasonable, human being.

I'm wondering if the raised distances between Gamma and Alpha have made the raiders go "meh". Or perhaps people are just still trying out the new toys in 4.86 - the Jormugand and such.
I can tell you, the devs did REALLY harm the fun because of this.... Sacrifice our fun for GMG? Hell no!
*Checks server*
I don't see any GMG. Now I KNOW you will say ''Go to Sigmas, they'll be there'' Nope, they're not.
Here you can enter a short message which will be automatically appended to the bottom of your posts.

This.
AND stop measuring your dicks, it is pathetic.

Funfact: only reason the outcasts and corsairs are interacting in vanilla is because outcasts want to get rid of Atka Research Station, which happens to be in corsair territory
