2.) Coming from a resident "elitist", I think that avoiding the (from what I've seen) secondary fleet tendancy to overuse caps would greatly improve the reception of your faction in the eyes of the community. In addition, roleplaying the Caps you do use would also help.
3.) Best of luck to you guys, and maybe you'll meet some Bundies if we pay Liberty a (smuggling) visit.
1.) Indeed, the 4-56'th isn't supposed to be vastly different from the other fleets, just an extention of them catered for the uniqueness of Texas. Essentially, the 4-56| is still in its "apprentice" stages. Over time it'll evolve and mature to become different in its own unique way.
2.) I've got mixed views about this. On one hand, a trained force of only fighters and bombers can be more than a match for a proper mixed fleet fielding capitals. On the other, fielding caps is lots of fun, makes me feel important, ya know? We'll see how it goes from here, but for now since the fleet's at it's "apprentice" stages and it's iRP-restructuring and rebuilding, you'll see lots more snubs than caps.
3.) Hahah! We'll be lookin' forward to y'all visitin' Texas now! Y'all will git to see just how we Texans do our rodeos 'round these parts.

2.) Something that may need to be sized down is the rank structure - for most factions it's easier for new members to handle a smaller, simpler system. Not that you'll need to delete the side titles or something, but condensing them a bit would help.
3.) Your Areas of Operation only list a 10k Radius around the Texas gate for Hudson and Bering. As of 4.87, their gates to Hamburg were blown up, resulting in those two systems being effectively owned by Liberty. Also if you'd like to focus on Texas, it may fit your RP more to have your main Zone of Influence be adjacent to Texas or Rheinland (NY, Cali, Penn, Minn, Virginia, New Hampshire, Bremen, Hudson, Bering) and a secondary zone for all the other systems allowed on the LN ID and by roleplay.
1.) I've been in-and-out of Freelancer for a bit, since my RL has been coming full swing, what with my b-day coming. But I'll get to that soon enough. Thanks for the advice.
2.) The reason why I have a complex ranking system is because I'm a future-oriented planner, considering what I -might- need in the future so that I won't have to change so much by the time we get to it. But I understand your point, I'll ask around from respectable sources.
3.) Very good points. I'll consider this advice wholeheartedly. Thank you very much.
I as the first recruit of the faction should be giving my feedback too.
Since I'm quite a new player, I found out about this game in september or october of 2013, and I had my first ship the LNS-Paxetbonum. Although I liked RP, but I wasn't best at it as I wasn't quite informed about the discovery universe. I even got santioned once "for shooting without a word" and I don't quite remember when or how that happened. So then I got to seeing florida keys in new hampshire I think, and was quite fascinated by its RP. Then as he opened 4-56 I was thinking of joining but I wasn't quite sure as I was having trouble on setting up my forum account.
Anyway one thing that really helps to keep it "proffesional" is the questionarie in the recruitment thread. Beside it beeing a "filter" it is also quite helpful to make someone learn the RP rules. And with his help too I managed to learn and get used to the server roleplay and actively takng part in it.
The whole idea of it is quite genuine and beautifully made, but the only flaw is that the 4-56 needs more people.
