Good day, old chaps!
Today, at about 1900, I responded to a sighting of "resistance" and Maltese forces in Leeds. When I arrived in orbit of Leeds, I linked up with MRG|Croisade and the Custodi gunboat CNS Perseus. The expected enemy force quickly left the system or went to ground. We were then contacted by an allied force under fire in New London, so we moved to assist. When we arrived in New London, we found our forces under attack by a sizable enemy force consisting of BAF and Maquis forces, aided by a single Crayterian carrier. Before I was forced to withdraw due to heavy damage, we destroyed the majority of the enemy force, including all their capital-class vessels and a number of fighters and bombers. The victory was not without cost, however, as the battleship Tourmaline and the battlecruiser Sajuuk fell to enemy fire.
