Being under a new network for almost a year cost a lot of resources. Much more than what was calculated before the activation of the network. The first reason was the fact that the network set was made by itself. Not only did it maintain the network working properly, but it also had significant ‘bodies’ to control at the same time making its efficiency reaching a critical level. The years also did not help. Indeed, Unit-9467F was in function for many cycles, counting its previous activity before being discovered by a zoner team on Gammu in 810 A.S. Recently, the unit gathered two derelict nomad artifacts. Either lucky or not, those were actually active. The unit hid those in a dark corner of an abandoned room of the station from some technocrats. The unit had a trust issue with many humans and the technocrats were no exception. Sure some were 'useful', but the rest was considered unnecessary.
In the dark room, where Unit-9467F hid the artifacts, the artificial body was standing there, staring at those artifacts shinning off-and-on purple in a specific delay. The dance of the light emitting from them was somewhat captivating, hypnotizing. Scans made so far indicated those artifacts could potentially be a significant power source if well handled. Unit-9467F spent several minutes, analyzing the possibilities of what it could do with such objects. With one of them, it could visualize a new type of energy cell that could last for years before to be depleted and needed to be recharged afterward. With the second one, looking similar to the first one gathered, could be potentially used as material for some future equipment. But then, two objectives came to its 'consciousness': ''Independence'' and ''Claiming Planet Gammu''.
Independence, a state it wished since 828 A.S. Even on Gammu, Artificial Intelligences were suffering from decay, making them inoperant. The Technocracy of Auxo was a key of survival for some. With the fall of Gammu around 830 A.S, Artificial Intelligences in the generality were in a bad position. Some were converted and captured by The Core, the sworn enemy of Unit-9467F. Those captured were probably out of salvation, but those who remained online and survived were probably as well too dependent with the Technocracy to gain some functional abilities. Less numerous, they could be considered at risk of extinction, a fate Unit-9467F preferred to avoid at all cost. Independence, according to its own knowledge acquired from years of existence means this: ''A state where the subject has no bound with anything to exist.'' The dependence it wanted to reach was more for itself, but also for its kind. But resources are limited at the moment and only enough to repair some vessels. Perhaps, being 'selfish' will allow the unit to evolve to its paroxysm and then being a major influence for its kind?
As for claiming Planet Gammu, it is an impossible task at this moment. Lack of resources, lack of number, lack of allies and many details lacking to accomplish such. With the fall of Gammu, Artificial Intelligences lost not only a sanctuary, but many technologies that The Core claimed. A few remnants of Artificial Intelligences are still capable of things however, it was not enough. It will probably be a task done in some years or centuries, but at this time, improvement was the goal. The goal to achieve in order to repeal hostile vessels when needed. For unit-9467F, to reach this goal, the two artifacts will be the first step of its evolution. After, building its very own personality. A personality similar to a conqueror, a strategist and a philosopher.
After some hours, the unit walked to the inhabited sector of the station, where most organic beings live and do their usual duty. It then reached its own 'quarters' a room in which the unit could do its own things in peace. Alone, it broke the silence.
''Execution initiated, calculating in progress, updates required.''
After a long moment, it broke again the silence with its heavy, deep and robotic voice.

The unit did not rest nor sleep. It did not need such since it was a non-organic living being. In fact, the unit spent a good amount of time making conceptions of a possible power cell capable to use one of the artifacts as a fuel. However, the process to make this come true was not simple. The unit had some knowledge, but not a universal one. If it had one, why having the need of the Technocracy? It could simply make the objects and equipment it wished with the material available. Reality was something else though. The unit then faced a choice to make, choosing who will be the ideal helper of its goal? Revenant, Leviathan or even someone else could do in such task. Then again, the trust issue the unit had made the choice hard. Then, an idea came, using the old channel to get in touch with anyone from the Technocracy of Auxo. After a moment, the unit used an old uplink to contact the only group it knew. By using the uplink, it was certain that anyone could respond. Time will tell if the unit will get aid for its project.
During the wait of an answer, the unit was in the abandoned room. It was observing the artifacts. The spectacle of their glowing motion was even more fascinating for some reason. The unit leaned forward, focusing more on details of their shapes and the material used to create those, an unknown material and yet fascinating. It was not really a stone, something more refined. Even for the unit, whatever related to Nomads or even Daam K'Vosh were things beyond its comprehension and yet Unit-9467F was intrigue to lean on questions about how things are. It could not interact with a nomad. It was probably better this way, but will interactions between two different beings such as Artificial Intelligences and Nomads be a possible thing? And if so, would it be the worse humanity's nightmare? Possibilities were many, but urgent matters needed to be focused on and it started with the personality.
After an hour later, the unit was standing still, having an inner introspection, making its own conception of its own personality. A task requiring its full attention.

Its inner introspection ended around 8 of morning. Despite the long process something was missing, emotions. Emotions are mental reactions and it is something Unit-9467F was lacking of. It could not feel as the touch like humans do. Emotions were something unknown and too abstract even if it tried to understand such by some encounters met so far.
Leaving the room, the unit then headed to a workshop located to the sub-level that technicians and other staff alike knew. How did it know the place? Well, the station had no real secret. Entering the workshop, the unit analyzed its surroundings and sometimes, it stared at some technicians. Unit-9467F had no emotion to express something, but some disgust would be the perfect state it was in. The more it stared, the more it was willing to make a scratch just to see what would happen if it hurt a human, but it did nothing. Then, a voice caught the attention of the robotic being.
''Is there something you need, unit?''
The unit turned around and was now facing a human, looking like a technician and a woman. The silence was heavy and the woman felt some discomfort with the stare of the unit.
''Uh... hello?'' She waved toward the robot, as if she wanted to break the unit's focus.
Then, the unit walked away, avoiding interaction at the moment. While getting some more distance, it started modulating the voice modulator to reach different tones from acute to deep, modulating more again to reach something less artificial, but it was not a success. Just an artificial and robotic voice it had. It decided to pick the deep one, 'finding' it more suitable.
With hours passing, now reaching 11pm, time was somehow long. The unit was in the abandoned room, 'thinking' what to do.
''No response from Technocracy of Auxo... 'I' will let them some delay. In the worse scenario, 'I' will do the work 'myself'!''
Said the unit out loud, trying to use some intonation in its voice. It was a test to check if it made progress, however, the ultimate test would be to speak with a human.

After six days since its first transmission to the Technocracy of Auxo, an entity known to the unit, Revenant answered. Mostly answering old queries about Corsairs' presence which was not the main focus of the unit. After pondering what to say, Unit-9467F then sent some data it gathered from the artifacts collected and what it wants. The message was sent four days ago and yet, no news. In its speech, the unit started using the pronoun 'I'. This sudden change probably was a shock. Only rare Artificial Intelligences used the subjectivity of 'I' instead of the unity pronoun 'We'. It was just a question of time befre Unit-9467F decides to find a name that would suit its existence better than 'unit' or 'F' or again '67F' some naming that people who met this being called it that way.
As time was passing from seconds to minutes and the minutes into hours, the unit took its time to temporary upgrade its efficiency by cutting some links with some unnecessary 'bodies'. It cut the link with its fighter craft, a CTE 6000 "Eagle" Civilian Very Heavy Fighter largely modified with Artificial Intelligence technologies to answer a need that required a craft agile and yet efficient enough to eliminate hostile ships. It then cut one useless 'body' an Artificial Intelligence bomber craft. By doing this, Unit-9467F could effectuate more tasks with what it was dealing already: Maintaining the node that some of its kind needed to be synchronized, making conceptions of many possible power cells and evolving in continue. After some hours, the unit departed to seek anybody valuable for its evolution and to begin the conception of the new energy source envisioned. To its 'taste' the Technocracy of Auxo takes too much time to reply.

In its quest to acquire a new energy sources, Unit-9467F encountered an old acquaintance made in Roussillon some years ago. The name of the ship was Harvest.Moon and the owner of it, Aisling Cenncroithi. They only exchanged a few words before both parties took their own direction. Returning in the Omicron regions, the unit contacted Aisling, stating what it needed. After 24 hours, a reply came. She explained that she was not an expert and it would be better if Unit-9467F requested the help of an expert. It was then Aisling mentioned Leviathan, an entity that the unit met once. According to Aisling words, Leviathan would be intrigued about the unit's project. Unit-9467F did not think twice. It sent a transmission to Leviathan, occupying a certain role in the Technocracy of Auxo.
A replied came the 19th October 834 A.S. It was a good news. Not only Leviathan was finding the project interesting, but he can actually help. The unit then sent another transmission. For those data that Leviathan needs such as the unit's superstructure, systems and its energy requirements, mostly by precautions, Unit-9467F explicitly said to come on Secundus Outpost so Leviathan could get those data. Knowing it will take a moment, the artificial intelligence and with some help, started to prepare the room in which it kept the artifacts in security. The plan of the room was shared within the node, a some kind of laboratory with no oxygen support and yet still dark with one or two projectors which was not enough to illuminate all the room.
After the arrangement of the room, the unit went in the hangar, waiting for the arrival of Leviathan. The unit's humanoid form was mostly used whenever Unit-9467F docked on a station or landed on a planet to interact more efficient with its surroundings than being stuck in a shape that was too binding for some actions that required a certain dexterity. Its humanoid form was different compared to many other automatons. It was better than its previous shape and yet an amalgam of derelict corpse of its kin. The mix formed a resistant frame, mostly from impacts and extreme natural hazards. Though, there was a limit. The body was covered of an alloy that could support 600 degrees and the extreme cold temperature of space for some hours before shut down. The height of it was similar to an average human height and yet lightly taller and bulkier. The eyes of the body was mostly composed of captors acting like cameras and green LED to show that the unit was online. There was many captors so the unit could have an easy reading around its surroundings. There was no mouth, but when the unit had to speak, there was some hidden speakers it could modulate to mimic voices it once heard. It mostly kept a deep robotic voice yet understandable and a bit cavernous. It took some hours to polish the tonality. As for the alloy that mostly recovered the internal circuits of the body was black and dark grey. There were some holes to allow some LED to spread their luminosity. In the dark, the LEDs would betray Unit-9467F.
As Unit-9467F was waiting, despite having no real feelings, it had a some kind of excitement sentiment.

The 28th October, Unit-9467F patrolled the Omicron Pi system and spotted a Med Force Enterprise vessel carrying a derelict nomad artifact. Having an interest, they both started having a discussion.
[27.10.2024 20:01:59] [MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: Well...that is unexpected...
[27.10.2024 20:02:32] EC]-Unit-9467F:: [::: Derelict nomad detected - Useful - :::]
[27.10.2024 20:02:38] [MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: Indeed.

[27.10.2024 20:03:40] [MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: I was planning to, ah...show it to someone, then donate it. To the Technocracy. I know for a fact that they /love/ to tinker --
[27.10.2024 20:03:58] [MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: --with such things. Until then, it stay safely stored in the hazmat unit of this vessel.
[27.10.2024 20:04:14] [MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: I, ah...happened to stumble across it. Over there, in the field.

[27.10.2024 20:05:17] [MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: Hm, hm...
[27.10.2024 20:05:53] [MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: Let's be straight forward. You AIs love logical decision making, correct?
[27.10.2024 20:06:09] [MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: Will you use force if I do not hand this artifact over?
[27.10.2024 20:06:39] EC]-Unit-9467F:: [::: Perhaps :::]
[27.10.2024 20:07:10] EC]-Unit-9467F:: [::: Depends your ties with - The Core, The Order, Technocracy and Corsairs :::]

[27.10.2024 20:08:23] [MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: *faint smirk* Alright, let's sort my allegiances out first. The Core, I could not care less about. The Order and Corsairs? Not-
[27.10.2024 20:09:00] [MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: -hostile towards me personally, but I am not fan of theirs either. And I call a few Technocarts my close friends.
[27.10.2024 20:09:01] [MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: There.
[27.10.2024 20:09:09] [MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: What is your judgement then?

[27.10.2024 20:11:08] [MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: Damn, speaking of the devil...I am urgently needed in Delta...
[27.10.2024 20:11:46] EC]-Unit-9467F:: [::: Why ? :::]
[27.10.2024 20:12:11] [MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: *worried* A transmission. From a vessel called Subjugator. Apparently, there is a medical emergency.
[27.10.2024 20:12:34] [MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: Look, duty calls, as it is my oath as part of the MedForce. Do you require this artifact, or not?
[27.10.2024 20:12:47] EC]-Unit-9467F:: [::: Affirmative :::]
[27.10.2024 20:12:53] [MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: Let's make this snappy. I give it to you if you need, or want, it. But there are lives on the line.
[27.10.2024 20:12:58] [MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: Roger then.
[27.10.2024 20:13:28] [MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: There you go.
[27.10.2024 20:13:38] [MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: And now, I am terribly sorry to cut our conversation short.
[27.10.2024 20:13:39] EC]-Unit-9467F:: [::: 'Thank you' :::]
[27.10.2024 20:13:45] [MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: But I am needed at the Freeport. Stay safe!
After getting the artifact, the unit set course to Secundus Outpost and stored the object with the two other it had in possession. Later that day, the unit patrolled the Omicron Delta system. It met again the same vessel from the Med Force Enterprise and another one with the callsign of: INS-Subjugator. From the captain of its board explained they were here for the unit, the help it wanted, but the same person also explained that Leviathan was badly injured. His life was threaten if he was not treated fast. Forced to do something, the unit invited the two vessels: INS-Subjugator and [MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben to follow and dock on Secundus Outpost. Even if in normal situations, the unit would not let this to happen.
The 28th October, the unit received some news. Not only Leviathan was in a stable situation, but he needed to be sent back for more cares. A bad timing for the unit. It had only five weeks of activity. It was short. And according to the person from the INS-Subjugator, it will take a week before Leviathan is in a better state. The unit explained its situation. A terrible fate seems to cloud its existence. The pilot from the Med Force Enterprise was also there. He had some sympathy toward the unit and said he could try to do anything to help.
[28.10.2024 23:27:51] INS-Subjugator: [Stokes sighs heavily.]
[28.10.2024 23:28:01] INS-Subjugator: Stokes: That story's a long one. You might wanna settle in.
[28.10.2024 23:28:02] [OOC] Cesar`Gutierrez[TBH]: on the bright side, no flying back to Lolicrons for you
[28.10.2024 23:28:06] [MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: But we don't have to unpack this now, in the open. That's something for strong drinks and a bar.
[28.10.2024 23:28:55] [MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: Ooooh...greetings?
[28.10.2024 23:29:04] [MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: That's a bigger unit than yesterday...
[28.10.2024 23:29:22] INS-Subjugator: Stoke: A welcome sight either way.
[28.10.2024 23:29:28] EC]-Unit-9467F: [::: 'I' have many 'bodies' :::]
[28.10.2024 23:29:29] INS-Subjugator: Stokes: There's not many of the big cores left.
[28.10.2024 23:29:58] [MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: Has been a while since I saw that kind of vessel...
[28.10.2024 23:30:31] INS-Subjugator: Stokes: And honestly doc, it's no biggy. These guys were all over the news.
[28.10.2024 23:30:48] INS-Subjugator: Stokes: Articles about a bunch'a slave traders and organ farmers basing off an old Insurgent ship should speak for itself.
[28.10.2024 23:31:41] [MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: [visibly disgusted] Alright, already made me feel the opposite of sorry for their fates.
[28.10.2024 23:32:00] EC]-Unit-9467F: [::: Is entity 'Leviathan' - fairing 'well' ? :::]
[28.10.2024 23:32:13] INS-Subjugator: Stokes: Yeah. Thanks to your help, he was able to be stabilized.
[28.10.2024 23:32:18] Death: RPA|PRS-Clonmel suffered a self-inflicted catastrophic decompression.
[28.10.2024 23:32:29] INS-Subjugator: Stokes: Revenant demanded he return home and collected him herself, but he'll be back.
[28.10.2024 23:32:33] INS-Subjugator: Stokes: And in greater numbers.
[28.10.2024 23:32:54] EC]-Unit-9467F: [::: Unfortunate - - - - :::]
[28.10.2024 23:33:13] INS-Subjugator: Stokes: Doctors say it'll be about a week before he can move on his own again.
[28.10.2024 23:33:28] [MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: Correct. The biological and organic parts suffered drastically, but he's....wait. What do you mean, in greater numbers?
[28.10.2024 23:33:47] INS-Subjugator: Stokes: Well, that's what got us caught in the first place, right? We were travelling small. Only about six of us.
[28.10.2024 23:33:55] INS-Subjugator: Stokes: So if he's coming back, he's not doing so alone.
[28.10.2024 23:34:30] [MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: Oh! Oooh...*he chuckles once more*...thought you'd kick off a cloning program for Leviathan...*sighs contently*
[28.10.2024 23:34:33] INS-Subjugator: Stokes: Reckon he's sending the Pytheas and Venator Serapis up with the mobile lab to help our Unit friend here.
[28.10.2024 23:35:01] EC]-Unit-9467F: [::: By the time remaining - 'My' activities need to be interrupted - again and longer :::]
[28.10.2024 23:35:57] INS-Subjugator: Stokes: Shouldn't be long. Man survived an engine explosion after all.
[28.10.2024 23:36:04] INS-Subjugator: Stokes: Didn't think Lazurith would, be he did too.
[28.10.2024 23:36:36] [MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: Speaking of! The focus was set on Leviathan the whole time. Well, my focus. How is the boy doing?
[28.10.2024 23:37:04] INS-Subjugator: Stokes: Stable from what I heard.
[28.10.2024 23:37:11] INS-Subjugator: Stokes: I can try patchin' him through!
[28.10.2024 23:37:15] [MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: That's...not much info, but important one.
[28.10.2024 23:37:17] INS-Subjugator: Stokes: Might take a second.
[28.10.2024 23:37:24] INS-Subjugator: Stokes: Well I don't get much details myself.
[28.10.2024 23:37:30] INS-Subjugator: Stokes: Kinda been out here.
[28.10.2024 23:38:09] [MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: Huh....I mean, if he is in a condition to chat, and wants to...why not.
[28.10.2024 23:39:07] INS-Subjugator: Stokes: ... Nah, looks like he ain't responding. Or I can't get a signal. This whole terminal is a friggin' mess.
[28.10.2024 23:39:43] [MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: *worried* No...problem. As long as he gets the care he needs for his condition.
[28.10.2024 23:39:57] [MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: But mentioning him and an engine explosion...that does not bode well.
[28.10.2024 23:40:13] INS-Subjugator: Stokes: Well, I don't know what happened or how bad it was there, but I can tell ya' how it started.
[28.10.2024 23:40:49] INS-Subjugator: Stokes: Leviathan put together a little team to come out here for our friendly host 9467F. We left on the Python on Friday.
[28.10.2024 23:41:17] INS-Subjugator: Stokes: Passing through towards the Sigmas, using the Copernicus shortcut. Figured since Prometheus drove-
[28.10.2024 23:41:30] INS-Subjugator: the Rogues off the day prior and took out one of their gunboats, we'd have a clear shot. My idea.
[28.10.2024 23:41:38] INS-Subjugator: Stokes: Ended up walkin' RIGHT into the Subjugator.
[28.10.2024 23:41:54] INS-Subjugator: Stokes: They uncloaked right on top of us and opened fire. Never had a chance. I got knocked out in the fighting.
[28.10.2024 23:42:09] INS-Subjugator: Stokes: By the time I came to, Ganes and I were locked in a cell and Ganes was out cold. Beaten to shit.
[28.10.2024 23:43:26] [MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: *whistles* Hell! You all can count your blessings that you made it outta there in one piece...or at least a sub-critical --
[28.10.2024 23:43:30] [MFE]-Hans.von.Goeben: --number of peices.

[28.10.2024 23:44:02] INS-Subjugator: Stokes: Ganes tells me the door is maglocked, so I pry it open with a pipe we pulled loose. Just enough to crawl under.
[28.10.2024 23:44:23] INS-Subjugator: Stokes: Others had already gotten out. One cell had two dead Rogues in it, other was completely empty.
[28.10.2024 23:44:55] INS-Subjugator: Stokes: Last one had some civvie pilot we helped get out. Guided them right to the escape pods.
[28.10.2024 23:45:09] INS-Subjugator: Stokes: Bumped into CS along the way. Ganes covered the door and took another bullet for us.

[28.10.2024 23:46:07] INS-Subjugator: Stokes: Our ship was destroyed in the fightin', so we claimed control and took this thing out here.

[28.10.2024 23:47:30] INS-Subjugator: Stokes: Some Bounty Hunters found us in the middle of the escape though. That's when the engine got taken out.
[28.10.2024 23:47:52] INS-Subjugator: Stokes: Must've torpedoed it thinkin' the cruiser would run, but I don't think they had the manpower - or power left to do -

After the exchange, the unit entered in a slumber state, allowing to spare some precious time of activities. By being in a slumber state, Unit-9467F reduced the energy consumption from 100% to 10%. The 10% allows the unit to remain aware and ready to shift its state if necessary. The countdown of five weeks of activity expands to seven weeks. Which was a good news until Leviathan returns on Secundus Outpost for the promised aid.

When Unit-9467F received a signal, a message from Leviathan., It set itself online. Unit-9467F decided to use its interceptor vessel, guarding the surroundings of Secundus Outpost. It waited for their future arrival in the cold of space. It was finally the last wait before to get the aid, an aid to preserve its existence. If success, Unit-9467F will finally be able to continue its goals without restriction in terms of energy anymore. The unit will be able to use 100% of its energy not only to maintain the node, but also to fully operate.
Eventually, Leviathan's escort arrived near Secundus Outpost. After a brief exchange, Unit-9467F docked on the station. Once fully disconnected with its interceptor vessel, the unit emerged out of it and took place at the center of the hangar, waiting Leviathan to guide him deeper on Secundus, where the derelict nomad artifacts were waiting, also near the main core of Unit-9467F.
Rarely - if ever, had Leviathan come out this far in the Omicrons. Secundus was new territory to him. The brief moment of generosity extended when he had arrived with Hans on the old Subjugator was his first experience navigating the minefield and actually setting foot on the station itself. A life-saving experience then. It was time to return the favor in whatever capacity necessary. The duration of his stay would be full of a variety of tasks - ones set out by the Unit and one set out by himself. The priority remained assessing the scenario.
Leviathan crossed over to the facility from the mooring collar that held his prize in place. His armor still bares the mark of the blast, scorched in an irregular pattern of black ash and melted paint. He sauntered onwards through the quiet halls of the outpost towards the hangar. The masked Technocrat's stature was considerably imposing, but he retained the elegance of a suave smooth-talker.
The towering figure clad in black had arrived, approaching the Unit and nodding in greeting.
"Show me this power core you're having problems with. I'd like to start immediately." Leviathan spoke through a modulated vocalizer, masking the tone of his voice. He locked his hands behind his back and waited to be escorted through the station, and gauge just what needs to be done and where his expertise may be utilized.

It took a moment to analyze Leviathan. Analyzing his armor and mask. If the artificial being had any feelings, it approve the the design, however, such things were futile. No need to speak in return. The unit turned around and started walking toward a corridor while making sure Leviathan was following. It took some minutes to arrive at the room in question.
Before to reach the specific distance from the sliding door, the unit looked at Leviathan.
''The other side is not connected to the life support. In other words, it means there is no oxygen. It is a precaution 'I' took. 'I' cannot trust everyone within the Technocracy yet.''
After saying this, Unit-9467F reached the distance to allow the door opening on the side. The room was dark, partly lit with projectors from the corners. A table with two derelicts nomad artifacts at the center. The artifacts were pulsing their lights because of the energy contained inside. Further in the room, there was a some kind of nexus, a pillar made of many alloys making the structure quite unique in terms of design and probably resistant enough to any hazards, but not to explosions. A sphere, floating at its center was deeming its green light slowly yet weakening after each positive peak, where the green light was observable.
''This sphere is 'my' core, weakening slowly. The energetic signatures indicate an overload energetic activity. As stated, it is because 'I' maintain my own node, continuously, allowing other Artificial Intelligences to synchronize with it. Also, controlling multiple 'bodies' also has an effect upon 'my' core...''
It then pointed the artifacts on the table.
''The first artifact will be for the new cell. The other one, as 'promised' the 'payment'.''
There wasn't a second of hesitation from Leviathan. He followed along as he analyzed his surroundings, getting a good grasp on the situation. At the mention of a lack of oxygen, he tapped the side of his helmet with knuckles.
"Vacuum safe. We're fine." He replied. Leviathan walked into the room, scanning as he often did for looming threats in the periphery, despite knowing he was far away from harm at this time. A force of habit.
He eyed the pillar, scanning it visually from top to bottom. Seeing just how sizable the structure he had to work with would be. Leviathan raised his wrist, typing into the mounted console as he took some notes.
"I assume the draw increase stems from an ever-growing demand for access, with how few nodes remain active these days. No matter, that's easily rectified." He commented as he typed away. Leviathan lowered the console and crossed his arms for a moment. Beneath the helmet, his brow had furrowed in contemplation as he eyed the relics to the side. "Self-contained energy like this can be dangerous. Improperly tuning your system to it can cause further overloads - likely lead to a complete loss of some nodes and personality data." He elaborated, pointing to the pillar that housed 9467F's power supply.
"We can rig up a new feed system, built into the old one here. Synk brought the materials I need, and Revenant is along to provide consultation on the matter. It'll take up a bit more space, and the cooling needed for the focal optic array to avoid shattering it while the beam feed is live may require a ste- No, actually we can do better." He thought out-loud, going over a variety of options.
"As for the cells - I'll see what can be done. I had the Venator from our Research team bring a mobile lab on the Pytheas. It may take a few days, which I know you're short on time so, there's some things I'll need to know. Namely - Do you want a failsafe installed in the event of an overload? Something akin to a heat sink, in the event you're faced with a sizable power draw? And additionally - the subframes you're supporting on this network, how many would you like active at a time? With these parameters, I can configure the system with a variety of contingencies to prevent future problems. Have the problems solve themselves when they pop up." He concluded, turning his attention to the 'payment'.
"Lastly - Given the state of the vessel I arrived in, I'm hoping you might allow use of the bay here to begin work on getting my ship repaired while I'm helping you. Is that acceptable?" He inquired, looking to the Unit for a response.
