I understand that Junkers Way, is a bit different, the Deaths| way is the same. While many view us as warmongers, and some think our position in Liberty is compromised, I can assure you that Deaths| are not looking to use Puerto Rico as a safe haven.
My reasoning for placing a communique to the Junker Congress is to express, that while our actions, i.e. Blowing up 3 junker ships, says war, we, the Deaths|, bear no ill will towards the Junker Congress.
That was, apparently poorly conveyed, and I blame myself. I apologize for any inconvience this may have caused you.

Esteemed Colonel Cameron Mitchell,
Although I'm quick to point out that I , in no shape or form, represent any of the Congress High Command I have been looking into these very disturbing set of events.
Let me first point out to you sir, that while Lobelia's actions were poorly planned and horribly executed it stands to reason that one, as a junker, would defend another junker during an attack more so on the front steps of a Junker Base no less. Granted the situation should of been handled with more Tact then "Roaring guns" on both sides.
1. While it is very strange to see this Hessian Vessel with a Junker ID I must point out that it is within the realm of a Junker to use old salvaged ships as this one was with consent as it was attained.
2. To my best knowledge while he does wear a Junker tag or ID he is not part of the Congress. As stated by Congressman Silver above. I am unaware of his current status.
Whether or not this affects the relationship between The Congress and Deaths| is not up to me to decide. I am going to be very clear with you, Although I know Lobelia was rash and acted poorly the fault is not solely on it. Do not be so rash in pointing out the crust in another's eye and miss the log in your own, I believe is the saying. With that said, I truly hope that this little incident does not get in the way of our relations.
Again I am just one congressman stating his opinion about this I AM NOT, IN ANY WAY, REPRESENTING THE CONGRESSMEN ABOVE ME OR THE VIEWS OF THE CONGRESS AS A COLLECTIVE.
-While GoldenAce sent his message there was an error in the orginal transmission typically know as Ninja edited. This sends a very awkward moment in realtime streaming and tends to send mixed messages. While still not realizing that the message had be change GoldenAce Continues on the present course of attitude. -
Eh Hello! I said who are you? Blown out of what proportion? DON'T tell me you are Hook if you are you're one lucky dog to survive us for the second time. *throws cards at the screen*

Two very strong points I choose to humbly point out are both located in: http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?sh...15642&st=20

I, as a lower ranking member of the Deaths| squad, have refrained from posting my opinions until now. I must say that as more light has been shed upon the reasons behind Junker Ship Lobelia's Actions I understand the situation better than I did before. I was a part of this Incident and I have the following to clarify:
- I agree that "roaring guns" is hardly the logical way of resolving conflicts. However, I also must note that the scene of a "dogfight" (as the Ancient Earthers used to call such skirmishes) is hardly the place to chat about the situation. When the Ship Lobelia approached our conflict we were in the heat of battle, a battle that was quite a mess to say the least. I for one did not know how why or when the "Legacy" pilots joined the fray nor what the entire situation was at any moment in time. Such is the nature of a battlefield as I am sure most pilots that have been in the business long knows. As the Lobelia approached we received a transmission that ordered us to leave the Scrap field or be fired upon. The reason we could not is simply that we were in the midst of a battle, therefore backed into the corner I knew we were in, I broke off from the battle long enough to transmit the message "I'm afraid that is not very possible right now." With the intent of explaining the situation in full to Lobelia and thus avoid further strife between us. However, Just as I transmitted this message and was preparing the next one Lobelia engaged. After that I gave up attempting to explain and reengaged.
- As you have acknowledged it was indeed very queer seeing a Hessian Cruiser outfitted with a Junker broadcasting code. Because of this we immediately suspected that foul play had been going on, and that these ships were not Junkers after all but merely in disguise. This threw the battle into even more confusion that it already had been in. Allowing less of a chance to talk and explain. We now know that it was not foul play but was rather a Junker custom we were unaware of before. As the information gatherer of the Deaths I blame myself for this.
Logic, reason, and order, I am learning, have little place in a battle. Instead they must be sacrificed for quick thinking, instinct, and chaos... This does grieve me though I can nothing about it.
That is all I have to add to this channel.
Sergent Calego over and out.

Salutations;
Colonel Mitchell, I appreciate the concern you had for relations between our collective organizations. Be assured that the Legacy group are kin to us by name only; they are otherwise shunned in our circles. Like one's cousin caught in a restroom with a large, sketchy Rogue performing sordid acts for a small bag of cardamine. They may be family, but they've too gone far down a hole no one wants to reach into.
Again, regarding Puerto Rico. I say this without condoning or condemning. Use it, but know the risks. Junkers come in all types, not just ours. The protection you will be under will be what you bring with you, either to trade or to push your own way out. Try not to damage anything of ours.
Hmmm...these men are being given permission to bring fighting forces through Puerto Rico? This seems a rejection of principle and is HIGHLY disturbing. Please reconsider. By you statement they can fly a battleship into there or loiter about to spot targets and gather intelligence.
Who are these Deaths and why would you grant them such access Arbiter?
I will admit I may have acted rashly and that is my fault as much of any of this is, but, as was said on the other channel, what am I to expect when I see a large and very armed fighting force literly whomping a much tinier junker one right on my homes doorstep? How would you react if a small gang came and was beating some cousin of yours over the head with a baseball bat? You would get a shotgun and chase them off or call the police no?
Secondly your responses after the battle and here I find highly insulting. First you do not even have the decency to search this utility to find any evidence of the weeks of hoops I went through to get this vessel commissioned or the thought that went into it? Also the congress says you can come into puerto rico but all your members besides one are going to make me keep my shotgun in hand and quite ready to use.

Greetings,
I am Congressman Frank Paulino, a member of The Congress and pilot of the vessel .:j:.Tri. There seemed to be an error with my first post and I posted an edited message for the brief time while I edited the mistakes in my first post. Sorry for the confusion. What I thought was being "blown out of proportion" was if the Deaths| and Congress' relations would be irreparable because of all this. But Chief Arbiter Bishop words are most assuring.
As for the situation Calego, The proverbial chaos of battle is a dastardly thing but hindsight is always 20/20.
Ambassador Tinkerbell makes a very good point in which I personally do not want to see non Junkers touting around battleships and conducting to much recon in our space as it goes a little over our generosity and invades our privacy and could possibly threaten our security.

Vladimir;
You are correct in that I should clarify the nature of their usage of Puerto Rico. The shipyard and posts are open to a variety of factions already. Thus far, none have made their move to invade because of the repercussions involved. It's common sense. Perhaps in your new role you yourself are forgetting that we don't necessarily have to have similar goals with a party to strike a deal with them?
But you're correct. The Deaths| group should be made aware that usage of Puerto Rico is for commercial and resupply purposes only. There will be no staging attacks from here. There will be no threats to our sovereignty. There will be no shifts in diplomacy resulting from their words or actions that will threaten the standing of the Congress with any faction, directly or indirectly. Any moves which can be interpreted as violating these terms will swiftly bring about a re-evaluation of the deal. Any damage to Junker assets or future acquisitions that we deem an unacceptable rebalance of risks versus benefits will also cause a re-evaluation of the deal.
The Deaths| are being allowed to purchase munitions, ship parts, rations and fuel only. Then they are to leave. Puerto Rico is not a place to stay for them any more than it is for a non-junker trader who finds his way in.

I'd hoped that would be clear. It should be now.

What is clear is that you set a precedent and help establish a perception that Puerto Rican security is merely a "formality" and not such a big issue. It's on your head.
So far, the only services our new guests have provided is attacking Junkers. Again, how is it they merit this favor?
