I dont see why not. The less savory types will just assume you pirated it, but not care. You can tell the legal types that you are just the deliveryman.

In RP scappy ship could be different then other scrappy ships, you can "equip" it really fine and it could
haul whatever you need, look at the trucks for example , same truck travels with Vegetables to A and goes back to B full with Laptops. You can just RP it no problem.

Cargo is cargo. Independent drivers today have varying qualities of rigs - you'll have the same thing in the future with space ships. Primarily the issue isn't the cargo itself, anyway, it's whether or not you're a reliable delivery driver. If you work for a big shipping company, they have lots of insurance and other things in the event of an issue, like pirates. If you're a smaller company or a loner, then you take the responsibility for the loss of the load on yourself.

that's a little bit much, but sadly human cargo trips are pretty limited with all the wars and blockades around. At least last time I tried it. (Had some BAF boarding my Liner to look for spies, turned out later that they would have taken them all in if I wouldn't have played along)

imho, it doesn't. I mean, both cases are perfectly OK, "same" grade. Because, luxury liners must have big cargo hold -- for they need to be autonomous as long as owner wants it to be, and that requires lots of supplies, thus big cargo hold; and then, if owner has enough money to afford luxury liner, then surely he is wealthy enough to be interested and involved in politics and wars, if he wants. Thus, helping one side or another, in particular by transporting military vehicles, is totally OK in my book.
But, do we want ridiculous ferry examples? No problem. Crapload of VIPs in a Slave Liner. Military vehicles in a Rhino (i don't think IRL army would allow their cargo to be transported by very vulnerable and weak-powered trucks). But the best i happened to know about is large train full of Nomad Pilots. Total nonsense inRP terms. %)
Do you see the groundhog there? No? Me neither. But, it's there nonetheless.
