To: Diplomatic Corps, Whitehall, BAF HC, BPA command. From: Andrew Peterson, Bowex. RE: Rheinlandic Incursions.
Myself and a scratch company consisting of two other Bowex Clydesdales, one BMM Mafic and one mercenary gunboat recently chased a Rheinland Gunboat out of Bretonia's borders. The ~RheinKempf~ was registered with Rheinland's intelligence agencies, the same who have often attacked our civilian shipping and allied with Kusari.
It was first discovered outside New London by the captain of the Bowex Shetland, the BES Wolfe. The gunboat chased it through to Dublin, at which point our captain escaped. I then caught up with the marauding invader and disrupted it as it attempted to cruise further into the system. I of course sternly ordered it out. Caught red-handed, it turned about and ran for New London, wherein the rest of the scratch company caught up.
Note, that when I ordered it out, it asked to leave through the Taus, probably in order to link up with its Kusari masters. I promptly denied it permission and told it I'd be ejecting it via the Omegas into its own space. As we passed the Norfolk, it put a few holes in the bugger, which amused us all greatly. Regardless, it unfortunately survived to limp into Omega 3.
We immediately denied it the use of the trade lanes. They're for Bretonians, not shady looking interlopers from hostile Militarys. Chasing him across the system on cruise engines, we eventually reached the Omega 7 gate. After he issued one last garbled threat, we promptly threw him through into his own space.
From the outset, we were all positively itching to rend the bugger in half, and scatter the wreckage into Dublin's sun. Unfortunately, I felt that doing so could make a bad situation worse. Even so, I regret letting the fiend go. All yours now, chaps. One Rheinlandic spy, ready to go.
I commend you on your exemplary handling of the situation. It comforts me to know that we can trust and expect our Bretonian companies to "fight the fight" against our foes, even in absence of the Armed Forces. A true example of bravery and cold blood in the face of the enemy.
We will proceed to analyze the contents of your report. Needless to say, the intelligence you've provided will save countless lives; civilian and military.
We will win our just triumph, the one we fight for every single day. Carry on.
Respectfully,
Admiral Wilhelm D. Aleski, Commander of the 11th Great Grimsby Fleet, Military Governor of Newcastle, Director of the Sunderland Research Station, DSC, CAM, GCA

Bravo Mr Peterson, Bravo!
The impeccable resolve and dedication of Bowex continues to be an inspiration to the civilian and government institutions of our fine nation. The courage of your pilots when faced with such a hostile environment is enviable. If any of them ever wanted to consider a career change, I've no doubt they'd be welcomed with open arms. Judging from the loyalty of your employees, I doubt that we'd have any luck shifting them, much less Jerry.
It's already been said by the good Admiral, but I'd like to reiterate the value of the intelligence you've gathered. You've done Bretonia an enormous service.

Sir, ma'am - we thank you for your praise, but cannot accept it. We merely did what we would have expected any other to have done in our position. Many consider traders and merchants to be a passive element in the interstellar environment, at the mercy of their aggressors. We beg to differ. While it is in our power to do so, we shall deny the enemy. We shall deny them with a force so stalwart and righteous as to shake their morale and beliefs to their very foundations.
We are loyal to the Queen. We are loyal to Bretonia. We are loyal to each other. While one of our rank lives on, so do we all in them. We shall execute our duty in the name of the Crown, whatever the cost, for we are not man, but cogs in the workings of a far greater machine. Sir, ma'am, we're brandishing the torch that burns twice as bright. We pray that burning light will rally others to our cause, and light the way for Bretonia's undying victory.
Each man a friend. Each friend a hero. Carina! Regina! Imperatrix!
