So, I have been wondering, did this happened to you in your first days of playing the mod?
I play the mod for a few weeks, but I am so lame in fighting...I die every battle, or duel I enter

It's not just fly and shoot, there are techniques and tactics that must be learned through training. You can ask someone to teach you, or just watch in Connecticut, or join a faction and get training from them. Flying and dying is the worst way of learning.
I played this game for years (although only rougly one month while using a mouse and not a touchpad) and I still get killed most of the time in fair fights. If you want to *win* in PVP, pick your battles wisely - or throw dignity and pride out the window and fight dirty (gunboat vs. fighter for instance). The respawn button is your friend though - don't be afraid of getting destroyed as long as you learn from the fight.
When I started playing on this server the average level of skills was far lower than nowadays, so I'm probably dieing more often these days than back then.

Wait, you mean that you're not supposed to die in every single combat you get into?
<facepalm>
Man, I've been doing it wrong for years, then...
Seriously, though - nothing wrong with dying so long as you're RPing. Heck, I'm the leader of a faction of PvP whores, and one thing we joke about is how quickly I'll die when we get into combat. In thee last 4 years, it's only been a handful of times that I've NOT been killed in combat. Just part of it.
And it makes your victories and living so much sweeter, too...

It is expect able from new player- just train more. Everyone was like that. I still sux in PvP even after a couple of years around.

(yes, i've seen enough of those lolduels, where house military with overwhelming force on the field willingly loses a pilot in a duel. ffs.)

Seriously, no joke, this is how it goes: Keep dieing until you start winning.
I first started on the server with a Manta (still have it) and I like to jest that all those BHG wrecks throughout Sirius are my old ships. My old faction leader, Athenian, would send us out as recruits to patrol Deep Omegas solo in a Manta to hunt OPG for the sole purpose of sending us to our death's against impossible numbers over and over till our skin thickened and we got good (love you guys in OPG/Sails, one of the most "real" factions out there to this day).
2 years of singleplayer and 1 year on online - and Im good at any fast ship from LF to Light cruiser. there is alot to learn though...
just never give up - make all you can and learn and oneday you will become an ace
