So, I started playing Disco back in '08. That's four years ago, and I'm 18 now. So I started playing Discovery when I was nothing more than a little kid and have been growing up ever since I started out here as 'Zeke the Corsair'. I just started reading a lot of my old posts, and I was.. Stupid. Well, not stupid per se, just young and, well, stupid. Whether I like it or not, Discovery has been with me while I was growing, and it grew along with me. I like to consider myself lucky, since I don't hate anybody on the server (I assume people don't hate me. Maybe find me annoying but that's your problem) and have never been sanctioned. I'm excited to see where Discovery will go in the future, and for all of the times that I have left and come back, I still love this place and most of its inhabitants.
I remember back in '08 when I started. I was just a kid at the tender age of 29. I did a lot of silly things back then and to be honest I still have bit of the childish lolwut in me from those times. I've wisened up now to the ripe age of 33 but I like to think I'm still 29 inside.
children....CHILDREN...ALL OF YOU! Just kidding.
Being stupid, and acting stupid in game are 2 different things. I have seen a genious do stupid things. I myself at the young age of 40 like to act stupid in game, and out. Makes you feel younger( other old farts like me will know what i am saying) but in no way makes you stupid. Actually the word stupid to me is kind of...well....stupid.
Ah hell...how does the saying go? Is it "A word from the wise" or "A word to the wise?" I mean, if you think about it, if it's 'A word to the wise' then one may wonder why the wise would give words to the wise when the wise would already be wise enough to understand the wisdom the wise is waxing wisely about to the equally wise...that said, it still makes no sense for it to be 'A word to the wise' simply because why would the wise give a flying eff about wise words spoken by the presumably unwise?...because let's face it, the wise would automatically assume that any words spoken 'to' them instead of 'from' them would naturally come from the unwise who only run under the premise of being wise until the day they actually become wise by marching through time.
Now, what the f#%& was my point?
pffft! Nevermind. I'm wise enough to know idioms are for idiots...or am I?
