Collecting bountys if you want to go further, you should capture bountys alive. (If said bounty is a roleplayer that is, thou those are rare.) These are my two cents, that I would like to see if your going bounty hunting.
As I said to Anaximander, by my understanding of the rules a Pirate ID is allowed to claim bounties as long as he breaks none of the Bounty board rules (being hostile, registering etc.). Since the only way you can engage someone is after they refuse a demand, something like "Pay me the price on your head or I'll get it from my employers" first would be good.

I'd like to. But even if I'll try, I will fail. People keep looking for blue messages and "Give me 8 millions!" and starts to shoot.

Claiming bounty will turn this group into a PvP group. I prefer 75% RP and 25% PvP. I know, i know...I'm idiot...

Not necessarily, it's just another form of RP you can do. You could always restrict it to piracy bounties only, or simply view them all as "improving relations" with whichever group is paying you.
It's not as if you are averse to taxing combat ships from what I've heard.
Little changes has been made. Do not expect from us to be only roleplayers. I had to balance things so we will fight back. So hurray for 50% RP and 50% PvP.
I have meet your party only once, but i had a nice experience.
Meanwhile your pirates where asking eccentric demands (not a bad thing just that I was somewaht disoriented how to respond), is easy to see your eforts for RP, the encopunter was nice!
Also can I sugest you something? I saw you as a big group, if i'm correct 2 taged pirates plus 3 indies pirates, maybe next ones to join you.
If you pirate in big parties i would say you to use freighters; A freighter is the better ship (in my opinon) for pirate, can hold/steal cargo from corporation convoys, descent proportion of firepower/hull/aguility so can survive in a lot of case, and, wich is nice, gets the opononen a chance to fight back (lone transport or escorted ones), has 395 speed in case you have to flee and fits the RP of a new pirate group.
Hope to see you soon again - Have fun!
- Cryer|Hippocrates (the ship with gaian life at Magellan)
Good to see that more people like to see pirates RP-ing in stead of pewpew with them. Also about the frighter is a good ideea. Freighters are good for pursuits and have a good firepower/cargo/agility ratio.
We are trying to keep on RP and make traders or others to forget about PvP cuz' this is not a pew pew server . There is more fun making RolePlay. Hope every one will have a good impresion about us

It wasn't about credits at all. We've get paid, the trader came back same way (his mistake). We've asked him to stop, he decided to not cooperate. Basically we do not charge when the trader comes back, we just stop him for RP. But, as always, there are traders who wants to make 100 millions per hour and they avoid to spend time RPing.
