The Shogun walked towards Kell Tainer, in the center of the Court chamber.
"Your own sources confirm the presence of a Naval Forces wing based in the Arch..." Dato sighed. "Are you implying the Dragons aren't a reliable 'source' here in Kusari? Correct me if I misunderstood you."
He began to walk in circles around Kell.
"Hai, we all know about The Arch's background, especially about that event which happened eighteen years ago, right? Maybe you'd be right and the current occupiers of the Arch are still ... Well, you know. But in these recent years, our pilots have been facing Naval Forces patrols of the 113th around the place. Even some of our pilots confirmed Naval Forces from the Arch fighting REAL infected forces in Hokkaido. Chances are 50/50, Director."
He stopped in front of Kell. "And now you want to move an Order wing to Kusari... Which will be welcome if you're going to assist us against the infected forces lurking Sigma 13 -especially-. We've seen them around Kyushu too, and Ryuku base never reported them docking with the Arch."
He paused for a moment
"But, if the Order is planning to launch recon missions around the Arch, not only the 113th but the Imperial Guard, the Katana wing and rest of KNF forces around Kusari will see Order's action as an act of war. I'd advise you to keep a very, very, very low profile around Tohoku, unless you want the Naval Forces in Minor every week."
"By my own sources, I refer to a probe dispatched to and destroyed by a Kuari Destroyer in Tohoku, this happened several months ago, I meant no offense to the Blood Dragons, you would be the best source of information on the area." Kell began.
"And I thank you for this, we would be happy to assist in the Sigmas and the rest of Kusari." Kell continued.
"However, Tohoku is showing disturbing activity, one of our automated probes already encountered a Kusari Destroyer in the system. Until now however, I was unaware a full unit had been deployed there, please, if i may ask, have all pertinent data transferred to the Gugnir II" Kell continued
Shab, a unit deployed to the Arch? Interesting, this could have ramifications beyond our ability to see Kell thought, pausing as he spoke.
"Nonetheless, pending a response from my contacts, we will have Wraith deployed within a week, if that is acceptable" Kell finished.
' Wrote:"Well Im offering my pilot skills I will support your Members when needed and help you in your cause, take the bounties that you offer . Now you're asking yourself why? Well in exchange for my support I would like to use some of your advanced weaponry if thats not a problem.."
"You still haven't told me what is the -main- thing you do - as in, are you primarily a Pirate? A Mercenary?
If you're primarily a pirate, do you have a special agenda?
We -could-, however, do with someone collecting bounties for our cause... That said, feel free to register on our Bounty Board... And please do answer my questions."
//sorry for the delay, kinda forgot about this <.<
' Wrote:"Nonetheless, pending a response from my contacts, we will have Wraith deployed within a week, if that is acceptable" Kell finished.
The Shogun began to walk in circles again.
"Hai, a full Naval Forces wing will be awaiting in the Arch to remove anything if somebody dares to poke his nose into 113th's business. Even they could have backup from the Battleship Matsumoto in Hokkaido..."
He finally moved back to his chait and sat down.
"So, these will be our conditions. Firstly, ANY information you could retrieve during your incursions against infected forces will be shared with our scientists at Sendai. Secondly, you'll send us a list containing EVERY Order agent who will be operating around Kusari and Sigmas, as well as the exact number and type of ships assigned to this mission ..."
He stared at Kell before finishing the sentence.
"And our last condition will be simple: If any of your agents brings us troubles, if they let our enemies to find Sendai or any other hideout... There will be severe consequences, and you know what I'm talking about, Director. If there isn't anything else to discuss, you may depart."
Masaru Akachi put on his Rising Sons Robes for the first time in his life, slipping them on proudly. He picked up his katana and fixed it onto the side of him. He was smiling, about to take his first stroll through the court halls, and if able, the actual room.
Stepping outside his room, he entered a brand new atmosphere. Everyone there wore their different robes, some resembling things such as ranks. The main hall was big and full of fellow brothers, all fighting for the same 'cause. As he walked through the halls Masaru gazed upon the walls bearing paintings of former and current high-ranking blood dragons. And below the paintings would be a little biography about that person. The young dragon walked slowly, reading the short information about many people. Miyamoto, Ryuu Noboru, Itagaki Dato, he had heard of these names before and was learning more about them just by all the whispers in the halls. But then Masaru stumbled upon a portrait with no name or biography. Just a painting of a person.
One of the Rojus that had been sitting down on a nearby bench, watching the young Oban, stood up. He approached him, then tapped on his shoulder.
"Zoinks! I mean.. Hi there!.. Er. Konnichiwa!... Uhhhhh.. Heh?"
The Roju was old, and apparently dieing from it. He eyeballed Masaru, head to toe then said,
"That's Hirosho Horatami."
Masaru Akachi looked at the portrait, then back at the old Roju.
"A who what?"
"A former shogun. For a small time. I was a close friend of his. Always supported him and his ways. And still do. Even though he's not here right now.. Don't know where he is.. "
The old man bent his head down a little and appeared to fall asleep.
"Uh.. Sir? Old man? Heeeeeyyyylllloooo?!"
The Roju sprung his head up, looking around, confused.
"Uh. Sorry. Sometimes i don't get enough sleep.. Anywho. Where was I?.. Ah yes. He's not here. And i don't think he's coming back."
The young oban raised an eyebrow.
"That's it?.. "
The Roju turned to face him.
"That's it. Brush up on your history lessons boy, it'll come in handy here... "
"Pft. Ooookaaaayyy weird old man."
The Roju opened his robe a little, and took out his cane. He held it in his hands for a moment, looking at it, then shrugged and bonked the kid on the head with it.
"OW! What was that for?!"
"Learn some respect... In fact. Meet me over there on that bench every day so i can bonk you on your head."
As the rusty Eagle accompanied with a GC Blossom entered Kyoto scanner range, the young lady piloting the Blossom hailed the station docking control and requested clearance for both of them to dock, as it seems the male piloting the Eagle had to meet the Shoguns personally. Once granted, the woman uploaded the landing pad the male had to take to his ship console, and then each of them headed to one of the docking bays.
Saerieve was speechless at the sight of station interiors. It was his first time aboard Kyoto, even after living on Ainu for last couple of months. As he got out of his ship, he looked around for the GC girl's Blossom who have showed him the way, but she had probably headed to another section of the station. Looking around, he noticed a young man in Dragon uniform walking toward him."You do not look Kusarian, so I assume you are the visitor from the Chrysanthemums?"Saerieve cleared his throat and said, "Yeah, that's probably me... I was supposed to meet your..."but the dragons cut his sentence and said,"Honorable Shogunate, hai. This way, I will show you the way."and waved his hand toward one of the elevators leaving the landing pads.
Once they were in the elevator and the blast doors closed, the Dragon pressed one of the buttons.
"I think I should teach you a few guidelines before meeting our honorable Shoguns. Those who seek an audience must walk into the Court and proceed towards the center of the chamber, so our Shoguns will know that this specific individual demands their attention. It's up to you to kneel before them, but it's mandatory to introduce yourself as soon as one of the Shoguns glance at you. Many foreigners fail at these protocols, so our Shoguns tend to treat these people as mere scum."
The elevator suddenly stopped. "This way". The walked through many corridors until they reached the final hallway which led directly to the Court Chamber. The Dragon pointed at the huge door. "And we arrived. I think the Sisterhood chose the right person this time but... if you need to ask me anything more, please do it now."
Saerieve looked at the door and then turned back to the Dragon, then narrowed his eyes as he asked, "So it's one of these... 'Interrogation' types, I mean... they ask, I answer with short and clear sentences and everything goes on just fine. right?"
"Our Shoguns won't mind listening to long answers... Only if you are concise and coherent. Obviously, the first thing you'd have to do is introducing youself so... Well, I bet you'll pick right words. Prove the Sisterhood that they did good by taking you to Kyoto, foreigner." The Dragon stepped back, leaving Saerieve alone in the hallway. "Roju Kazuyo Asaru. Nice to meet you" He bowed and left back to the elevator.
