Not much can be done at this point guys. The best one could hope for is that the Admins review the sanction, which they did. Sometimes, they have to make a decision that is not going to be popular for what they feel is the best interests of the server. You might not agree that it is, but that's irrelevant.

Rule changes are unlikely to be considered if the Admins don't approve of this type of RP in the first place. The best advice I can give at this point is what I've already suggested in another thread: If you have some unique RP, it never hurts to run it by the Admins ahead of time to get their input, particularly, if it involves aggressive type of interactions.

Can this mean an order of silence will continue to be a demand on it's own in all cases?

EDIT: Also, one of the main points many disagree with the Admin Team is a claim of misconduct on Spazzy's part which has been disproven by a more reliable source of information (an actual video footage) than what was provided in the initial report to support the claim (a single screenshot), yet despite this the Admin Team decided to discard the former, more reliable one in favor of the latter, less reliable one. Would you also consider such as an act in "the best interests of the server"? Should we consider it as such?

I'm totally your opinion @Spazzy, the video footage of the act alone shows you know what you did there and thought it would be ok (which I would have thought the same at that point).

Sadly, as much as I'm on Spazzy's opinion the rules state that you cannot demand anything else then Credits or Cargo (Yes, I have read this other conversation about shooting off peoples gear but I think no admin confirmed this, also admins can post as normal players with their admin accounts if they feel like too...). Even though Guns can be "unmounted" in space (by shooting at them) this is illogical inRP. From a neutral view I would say the pirates were trolling the trader at some point asking to unmount his guns in space. I can't find a reason, for myself as player to sit there and watch 2 guys shooting my turrets and guns away (which are cost heavy *coughs* see Excaliburs... and no Suiciding afterwards would break the inRP immersion).

tl;dr: Video shows some parts of the sanction should be reformulated but you did do definetly something wrong. Like breaking the ID Rules and at some point trolling members of the community (players ingame)...

That's the main reason why I filed report in the first place. The second was lack of reply to my PMs in which I shared doubt about such a demand. Third was caused by very random thing, and I did not want to F1 in space due to real life emergency (in fear of being reported for it) so I had to AFK due to emergency - with will to continue RP. When I came back, I saw my shield down and from my POV it was already engagement, so I defended myself thinking these guys were no longer roleplaying.


Addendum:
The best thing is this incident doesn't bother me - hell, I even forgot about it. Right after the sanction notice happened however, I was driven to the point in which I regreted filling report because "I ruined someone else's plans with new Rogue group" and became "fun/roleplay/whatever ruiner" - this is what bothers me the most and made me depressed for a fair few days, just because I thought I did something right and got hated for that.
