You make it seem like Liberty Insurgency is gone ? OnlyMarshall Reconstruction is a bit deconstructed? Seems like this is a note for next patch.
Maybe they got impatient and didn't want to wait another month or two.
Some clarity on the current state of the insurgency would be appreciated, this story post seems far more final than what’s in the game atm

I fail to understand where you are coming from? I only play when i feel like it with play times and how much i play a week is very inconsistant but even I still have somewhere between 2-3 billion. 20 million credits for anything in this game at this point is like chump change.
Let's grab an existing ability of your ship, then put it behind an annoyance of a paywall while every other ship of the price point is cheap to kit out.
I don't quite enjoy EA games tier tactics, but maybe you do. Hardly a money sink, but a flat out annoyance for one class.
Now now, if this was EA tier tactics the devs would be charging you £9.99 real cash for the speed update but I do see your point.
Honestly I just want things to dump my credits into and have a reason to actually do some trading/ battlefield/missions or whatever it is i'd do for credits.

Well sure, and thanks to the devs for their work, there is a lot of good things in this one. I just wish a whole update would go towards new in game activities and some actual things to do with these factions and ships and tech we have. I'd be happy to earn and spend hundreds of millions a month again, if there was a reason. Story here is mostly stagnant, players and OF's shrink over lack of interest, lack of stuff to do. If only we'd finally connect them in an official systemized way.
Like the Insurgency/ Veracruz. Only at Discovery do we end a faction, see it inflate in numbers, and be ready to fight an actual in-game war by the end of the story, when they are supposed to accept being shrunk or all but removed. If only we channeled that drive in an organized way. The current system actually prevents a lot of activity, like the major battles and days between where people trade and supply to prepare and work on the next goal. I see no reason why we can't have real headlines rather than hearing about the Delaware going down. Factions should be able to earn challenges to fight over designated bases/areas. Use those static NPC's if you have to.
And I'm not paying 80 -100 mil to switch all my freighters. No I don't use them all every day but now there is almost no advantage to a slow freighter that a Pelican can't provide, and it is way stronger. Freighters didn't need that change, transports needed it.
I know some would say freighters are so maneuverable they are hard to catch. To me there are other ways to mitigate stuff like that. But I admit it depends on getting the work done, I wish I could do it. To me though, I'd rather see a new in-game counter. We need a new CD, like a cloak disrupter, that emits a simple energy pulse that knocks out any ship engine in range, and disrupts it for like 60-90 secs. Give it ammo so it can't be used infinifely, but that would 'paralyze' any ship, even a freighter, from cruise much easier. Could even go as far as disabling a ship engine totally, so only a thruster works, or not even that, leaving ship dead in space and helpless for at least a minute. The drawback might be, unless you have one mounted, it could equally work on your allies as well as enemies.

This.
Just as the constant increase of entropy is the basic law of the universe, so it is the basic law of life to struggle against entropy. - V. Havel
I am not involved in the Insurgency RP at all, but I felt that was a little sad to see they just lost. From all the posts I do have read, it didn't appear as they had lost, yet. So that's ashame and sad.
The rest seems lovely, great job Devs! Even if I am not super active, I appreciate all your work. You are progressing and adding things, despite the decline of active players ingame. Marvellous!

Just been lurking in older threads and saw this unanswered. To clarify - they extend graphical settings, such as sun, asteroid belts and nebulae render so you can "toggle" between low quality and high quality as once I stated in my guide for manual edit of perfoptions.ini, you can see the difference of such settings on screen.
I looked through the post to see if my question could be answered to no avail, other than one question that was not answered. Anyways i get the Mining Drone, But what does the Scanner and repairs drones do? Are any commands in game to have them do something? Or are they just RP drones?
