I have to say, while I did enjoy flying the current model SCRA ships during my later time in the SCRA, I understand the hitbox problems and the need to fix them. I also understand the need for fixing powerplants and things like that.
I like the current models, but I also think these new models look pretty cool, and fit the look of what they're supposed to look like.
They're really nice looking and I'm sure the problems faced with the current Coalition ships were addressed and fixed in the creation of the new models.
In other words, I like the current models but acknowledge their problems, and I like these new models and acknowledge that they've fixed the problems currently faced and wrapped them in a pretty shell.

Tabris explained the Most to me, but what about the .cmp Files of the Ships? I'd like to take a closer Look at them and maybe even try some Signatures with them. Also training my Ability to Render Ships.
@Blackwidow: You forgot your Glasses? They look different to each other. What do you expect. It is a perfect Line in my Opinion, just like the Liberty Navy Ships for Example. Actually they are a better Line than the Z-Line with more Ships being random.
"Who is it doing this synthetic type of alpha beta psychedelic funkin'?"
I would like to thank the Communist Party of China for allowing this all to happen.
:D
On the ships themselves, I like the style... they aren't pretty, but look practical. Sort of like how Rogue ships aren't pretty. The difference is that these look like they won't fall apart.
I like the red stripes, since they're a nice, non-flashy, drab tone, but I'm less fond of the orange insignia. As a whole, though, brilliant. I'd like to agree with Jinx though: Those not flying the ships have a right to criticise them, and do so strongly, since they'll still have to look at the damn things.

The idea is that the last line were complete failures and were therefore scrapped entirely. Correct me if I'm wrong boys!
It is from other game. And the red star is symbolic for the communism. To change it for hammer from other game is rather weird for me. Note: I come from former communistic country and I may say that the red star is just a symbol nothing special.

(yes, i've seen enough of those lolduels, where house military with overwhelming force on the field willingly loses a pilot in a duel. ffs.)

Yeah, we did indeed use the Hammer and Cog before Red Faction Guerrilla. Yes, the red star is symbolic of Communism. So are other symbols. Variations on the Hammer and Sickle logo are fairly common, including some that use a cog. Our symbol is not a ripoff from anything, and it is still recognizable as a Communist symbol, while still retaining our own unique style.
I have to admit, I love the new shipline. The centered SNAC Pod on the Bomber also fills me with joy, I hate asymmetrical ships and weapon hardpoints. While I don't really like the removal of the Hammer and Sickle, it's not really that big of a deal. It looks similar to a Dagger and it follows the Borderworld Shiplines style of modular construction so that's always good.
