Oh, guys, noone played RTS, noone saw movies about war?
It was just a simple raid. Corsairs won it, and returnted back to position of Cadiz.
Expansion start could be- donate one Osiris and play RP of stationary base on it.
I thought about this for a while and honestly the Corsair NPC faction deserves nothing.
Why?
Nothing has been done ingame or even on the forums to support them gaining anything. Infact everything ingame suggests they loose something vital.
That raid into Cambridge the other day? Completely wiped out by the succession of failed "lolraids" of the preceding and following that day.
If the Corsair NPC faction is to gain anything they should have to work for it ingame and on the forums.
Now on the flip side following the Zoner Zoner Zoner events the Corsairs SHOULD loose several bases in the Omegas due to the fact that we got beat continuously (for well over a week) seeing as what was done to Bretonia and Rhienland in 4.85.
Well, loosing is a little bit far, anything may be reflected in news, infocards and all the other jazz.
I believe that sitting in Gamma isn't a way the Corsair should play his character. I remember we had a "no go to gamma" policy in Sails and it was pretty great. Omegas, Sigmas, Bretonia, Rheinland. Not stupid gamma.

I was talking about Casablanca, that random base in O 50 and/or Yarren. Random out of the way stations.
Problem is when Corsairs go out places they tend to be led poorly and get transport back to Gamma rather quickly
And yeah as for nostalgia on old Sails dont start... you'll make me sad panda. Gone are the days of the Karo, Vilkas, Curi, Grimmly, Berny, Espi pwn squad:(

Thing is, players have no impact on lore. And factions like the Zoners are disproportionately powerful on the server, compared to what their station populations are.
Freeport 9 has a population of 150. Crete has a population of several (hundred?) million. Should push come to shove ingame, both will be able to muster equal numbers for a fleet fight. Disproportionate representation.
You can take solace in the fact that nothing you do here actually matters. Wait... That's actually kind of depressing.
