Do you have any idea how big of a target the Eagle actually is? Even people that have flown the -vanilla- Eagle on other servers for several years, and actually -know- how to fly an Eagle, cant do anything with it here. It simply gets outperformed by most other VHF's.
Yet, the balance lead has decided to buff the Wraith, which at the moment, is more OP than the Sabre and can be flown by a blind man with one hand.

Pretty much. Well, they did, a long time ago. Now they're just dinosaurs with flawed logic. The problem is, we're all out of meteors.
' Wrote:The titan can turn a lot faster than what it should for its WEIGHT, its a bucket that can turn quite fast and has a massive powercore compared to an eagle.
People talk of weight but where is it written about weight?
I can find turning and powercore but I don't seem able to find weight.
There is no comparison like hull integrity or else you can compare other vessels (like transports, GB's etc) and things get really unrealistic there.
If you must whine about a ship, look at the Arbeiter. It is out maneuvered by almost everything and it's matched against the Wraith which is one of the most agile and powerful VHF's in the game.
It is slower to turn, has less energy per weapon mount, has less bots, less bats and less hull.
It's an easier target in PvP in one on one and there is a common thought with the people that use it that in massed combat it is outclassed here as well due to it's size/profile, although one person of some import (sadly) disagrees (he doesn't fly it regularly of course).
All of this is very odd considering it is based on both the Eagle AND the Wraith but, don't believe me?
Ask the guys who should have to fly it. Ask them why they all fly Sabres or occasionally Eagles. Ask them why non fly Arbeiters. Just how many Arbeiters have the RM killed as opposed to Sabres?
It's not important what people 'say' about balance, look in game and 'see' the balance.
Syrus is right when it comes to snubs,
Quote:Ships in Disco rely on agility, if you won't get hit you won't die, no matter how weak your armor is
Frankly, parties who have the authority to balance things like this should look at the environment they have to operate in.
Anyway, rant over, with regard to Vlads post, I wouldn't want to see bots/bats/AU removed because for XXXX poor pilots me, it allows me to last an extra few minutes in combat and whilst I am pretty sure I'll die, at least I had fun doing it. If it's over too fast, theres no fun and for me, fun is the most important part of this 'game'.

Ouch it turns like HF now and have one of the best guns around. It really receives a buff? oh my..

Then you havent dueled anyone capable or, remotely capable. Its a piece of junk, especially in group fights. Its basically a big flying target that keeps yelling "Hellooo Im a big flying target!".

The mass of the ship.

Not removed. Simply lowered in numbers.

Theres your main problem with the current balance team.
Dubstep I know you are a good pilot, which is why I am confused as to why you think it sucks.
It is highly agile and rather small compared to many other VHFs. It's the god of quick sliding and when used properly cannot be hit by anyone but the best of pilots.

I have. It's not that bad in my opinion (in that, there are worse). It does have a weak powercore and low hull integrity but it is very agile.
It wouldn't be my first choice but then, I did suggest that the Sabre is the prefered weapon of choice.
Anyway, with regard to agility, if you can hit the target, you can kill it which at least the Eagle can do. Try doing it in a ship that is as wide as an eagle but isn't agile.
' Wrote:The mass of the ship.
I am aware you meant mass. I asked where it is written down that fighter A is heavier than fighter B.
