Sure - you could add artwork. It's only the writing itself that's being judged though.

Of course the story will be judged upon the writing within the contest, but at the end of the day I would really like to create something I would be proud of artwork and all, no matter the formal appraisal, so thanks for the opportunity.

That would be wise, I'd suggest a moderated thread in which all mistaken or intentionally lolwutish post are discarded and only the real contest submissions are posted

So long as the story is finished before the month is up, you can submit it whenever you like. We won't start judging it until the end of the contest, anyway.

A very nice idea. I have been waiting so long for such an idea like this.

Unfortunately my language skills lacks me from the participation but good luck for everybody and kudos for those who brainstormed it.

More of these could be very welcomed.

You could write your story and send it to me, then I can edit it to fix any problems it might have while retaining its content.

Apologies if this has already been asked, but can the story we submit then be used in the future for our character bios etc. You see the title curiously fits into what I was planning on writing anyways. I've no idea when I'll get round to writing it, but the double incentive might help
