Lately I noticed people whining/crying/whingeing about being attacked near a freeport but not in the NFZ so whats the problem? I thought zoners where truly independent and didn't enforce laws outside there NFZ's?
I might be seeing things from a very old perspective and not discovery mindset of we dislike pirates so lets rephack em so they cant dock on house pirates bases and stop them docking on the few stations left? which I guess has come from the 2mill or die pirates....ones who do not like to have a laugh before blasting you to bits, Also someone threatened to ban my pirate If attacked him/her/it...WTF??? let loose and have fun haha
Anyway back on topic what is the harm in a pirate using a freeport to dock, sit around and drink rum without the fear of being mauled by 5 cloaked navy/police bombers? after all doesn't zoners trade with unlawfuls and lawfuls to make the best of things like the infocard on FP9?
Also I am not one of the ones at FP1 just find the whole situation amusing at best haha
In the most recent situation it seems the pirates may not have always been using the FP's but basically when you get caught docking there, during a battle (especially one you started as a pirate) then people will be able to RP around it accordingly, as evidence of using the Freeports during illegal battle. OORP wise there's nothing wrong about attacking near a FP, or docking on one to retreat...but you may have to deal inrp if you get caught.
Any House law enforcement is able to engage any of its enemies or criminals anywhere within its territory, and that includes Freeports' NFZs. Otherwise, the Freeports that are in House space are protecting criminals, which would be detrimental for the House and would probably cause the Freeport to be boarded by the said House.
Factions that have no authority in the area can't combat their enemies inside the NFZ though, not without getting rephacked red to the Zoners if reported to them.
Tip: if you want to pirate freely in a House, use a House pirate, for example a LR for Liberty. Or, you can have a common pirate and be able to wander and plunder across all of Sirius, but not dock at every unlawful base. And don't use Freeports for staging and hiding, it's best to use them when nobody (relevant) is looking and you have some expensive load to sell.

Houses should be able to force their laws in the NFZ. It's stupid. Pirates can just stage attacks from there or sit in a NFZ waiting for you to go then carry on pirating. It's a horrible idea having NFZs where house enforcement can't get rid of their foes.

If you're talking about my recent messages to FP1's administrator, it's because the Zoners themselves set up laws banning people from staging attacks from their Freeports. This is mostly RP aimed at holding them accountable to their own laws.
Also because having pirates launching on us from a base that's in the middle of our main trade routes is extremely inconvenient, so Bowex is going to follow all RP avenues that we have access to to find ways to protect ourselves.
At the end of the day, so long as RP results from a situation it's a net gain. Drama isn't a bad thing in of itself, because it drives on events. Whinging is bad, because it holds OORP connotations. But so long as something is being dealt with inside the RP environment, I wouldn't consider it to be whinging.

Quite clearly all of this is in relation to the trouble being stirred up by Silent.Scorpion & Co's band of pirates that frequent the Omega 3 System.
Our main targets are Bowex and other haulers that dare to carry high value items through the omegas without first paying their dues!
I see the whole attempt by Bowex) to try and get my ships banned from FP1 as a cheapshot to be rid of the pirate that is affecting their convoys.
Of all the evidence put forward so far against my ship (Silent.Scorpion), it clearly show that my ship does dock with FP1 and pirate in Omega 3 but outside the FP1 NFZ and thus inRP my ship is not liable to any inRP sanctions since the NFZ has never been breached.
To try and get me banned from FP1 because I use it as a staging post is weak lack luster RP at best. Because if you follow that logic then you might as well ban all pirates from FP1 even if they respect the NFZ because you know they are gonna pirate in Omega 3 eventually even if its far away from the Freeport, we should punish the pirate now?
Maybe we should have a pirate "Minority Report" Huh?
I tell you now Bowex) will never get evidence of me pirating near FP1 or within the NFZ and thus I will not be banned from FP1. Because inRP I dont bite the hand that feeds me (Zoners).
In all honesty though Bowex) and Jammi's spearhead of reporting me to FP1 in the hope I will be banned from there is in fact sad because you are trying to take the easy route out of the problem.
Your a company get the escorts you need to handle the problem.
Remember Jammi when you asked me to help revamp the Gateway Bowex rivalry in the Omegas too spice things up a bit with a bit of piracy. Well of course it never happened with Gateway, but if I did do it. Would you still react in the same way as you have here, you would most probably have tried to get Gateway) ships banned from FP1 for using it as a staging post!
Because the interactions would have been the same, all that has transpired thus far just shows me your true character and its not one I like.
But I tell you now and know these words, whatever attempt you make to stop me from pirating your Bowex convoys if said attempts are not fair i.e. using escorts etc. Whatever RP means you may try to use to stop me as you have done with the FP1 reports, I will hit back harder and stronger each time.
Your ships will pay the tax or go down in flames I am happy either way, but if you are gonna bring it. Bring it with some backbone.......

Don't get ahead of yourself like normally dude, this is also due in part with the Pirate Reapers as well

Na, they exist still, a good portion of the reports are also on their head, so a good 50% is on them as well, not just you. Just figured I give that heads up
Zoners don't want pirates bringing down the wrath of the houses so they have these rules set up. Freeports are meant to be ports where everyone can gather and have a big ol' laugh, as well as seek sanctuary. If you are using the Freeport to stage attacks, you are violating that.
I don't see why you feel so targeted by this. The rules apply to everyone, and if anyone else was using the Freeport to stage attacks, they'd get slammed accordingly.
As for bringing it with some backbone: There's this nice blue collage right here. Should submit it somewhere as modern art, to be perfectly honest.
