The story about the Harmony started really harmless in the end of 2015 where it was nothing more than another liberty battleship.
Over time it became a bigger RP project of mine and grew to become a faction (That is pretty much over now) and then became a bigger storyline when Wild got involved.
Until yesterday there has already been a pretty respectable amount of ingame and forum rp. I'll quote my personal feedback thread here for the threads up until now:
It started with the Harmony doing normal mission and assisting forces in Liberty when I decided to do more with it. Even the installation of cloak disruptor was rped out and happened with escorts, making it interesting. Then it became a faction to detail a little Navy group further and "Battlegroup Harmony" was founded. The faction ran well and cooperated with the other two Navy factions([LN] & 5th) pretty good. It had been fun but the sudden lack of enemies made the little group rather boring since you can only do so many recon missions in your own space.
@Shiki's D9 agent then spiced things up again, bombing the ship and infiltrating it as an LSF agent that then convinced Knight of the nomad threat, although sending her in the wrong direction. She suspected the Navy to be infected now instead of looking into her own crew's ranks. This enabled the undercover agent to infect more people and generate more chaos. OSC ships have been bombarded by the battlegroup's ships and eventually High Command pressured the Rear Admiral to fix the situation. She contacted the LSA and the ESRD in hope to receive help in uncovering the hidden nomads inside the Navy.
This is were the recent events catch up.
Rear Admiral Knight had just returned from a meeting with Commander Reeves who promised her to find the nomads using a new scanner. Sadly it couldn't be put to use as the recent event made things escalate.
The Harmony was patrolling in the Alaska system where it encountered an LPI cruiser. - So far it is really nothing special. Weird even.
The cruiser was in combat with nomad warships which the Harmony helped to take out. By now the 5th arrived with 2 fighters and already questioned the "Unknown IFFed" Executioner that was escorting the Harmony.
This let the cruiser become less of a priority since it was only fighting off nomads and seemed to otherwise be allowed there. The 5th wasn't accepting the weird ID of the fighter vessel and the Harmony, still suspicious of the Navy, took their aggressive questioning as a threat. When the [LN] then arrived, Knight was forced to ID her pilot when they threatened to be hostile. Soon after the 5th and LN destroyed the LPI cruiser without mercy, quickly letting Knight go on the defensive.
The opposing Navy forces then wanted to arrest the Harmony's escort fighter. Knight was now convinced things weren't going to end peacefully and felt her suspicions about infected Navy confirmed. The Harmony and it's escort tried to run but ultimately failed and succumbed in combat against two Dreadnoughts and two Fighters.
The Harmony was then ordered to move to Norfolk and the escort pilot was supposed to be arrested there. But soon after the LSF arrived and decided to cease the Harmony to deal with the nomad problem themselves. Two sides formed. One side consisting of the [LN], 5th and other Navy forces. The other side was made up of the =LSF=, remaining Harmony ships and other supporters of the Harmony and LSF.
The LSF was outnumbered and decided to let the convoy proceed in taking the Harmony to Juneau now. When the Navy forces were spread out far enough they attacked and a huge fight broke out. The Navy won this time and the crippled LSF aligned forces retreated.
The Harmony is now moored at Juneau.

It still lacks some details as to why each side wanted the Harmony and was each side's supportive reason for it. But looks like a good summary in overall.
If we didn't retcon that mortar, none of this would have happened. #BlameTheMortar
