Yeah, exactly. There are 4 unlawful Liberty based factions (LR, LH, Xeno, HF). Two of them don't have official factions. Adding 5th one with RP very similar to Xeno and HF is... you know... not needed?
There is a fairly large difference between an organised faction and an open ID, we both know these things must be proofed to stop abuse and that dangling "attack anyone" line is problematic, given the situation in Bering. If the line had a qualifier such as "except transports and Pirates ID'd ships" there wouldn't be an issue, especially since the ID is also being sold on a pirate base.
The Unioners are a criminal faction who frequently attack Republican ships. They focus mainly on piracy and smuggling. They cooperate with both Corsairs and Red Hessians.
Pilot carrying this unlawful ID is a member of the Unioners, who:
- Can attack any ships within their Zone of Influence, except transports.

Allowed ships: Fighters, Freighters, Transports, Gunboats, Cruisers
The Unioner ID isn't being sold on a Pirate base or have the huge list of potential targets that the Separatist ID has, nor does it so grossly overwrite and outshine an existing ID that already struggled with its identity against another player-made faction. In the very least one of the issues can be solved by removing the ID from Freeport 2.
I'll admit I'm not a fan of the fact that Harmony the separatists can basically suck away LN indies with a simple ID change, as opposed to the HF who need to do serious roleplay to defect a Liberty capital, and I do think some effort should be made to encourage anyone who does do so to maintain an LN indie as well.
@Lady Gaga - Liberty Separatist ID is avaliable for purchase on Marshall Station and Freeport 2, in Bering. As the restart isn't yet available, I suggest you make a civilian character (perhaps Kusari Civilian due to the high number of neutral reps), make your way to Bering and buy the ID.
As a note - Harmony has an Official ID of its own, while SSRT uses the aforementioned Liberty Separatist ID, should you wish to join one of the two
