Description

Beckon Industries was formed in 795 AS from several smaller industrial machine shops and welding outfits. Most of their business was planet side, specializing in structures and planet side shipbuilding. Beckon Industries would also do on site construction, having a small fleet of CT-49X "Gull" and CT-39X "Albatross" Transports with customized pods, basically mobile welding and machine / manufacturing pods. In 817 AS Beckon took over a defunct mining company, consisting of 2 miners and 2 transports. This company was taken over as repayment for a debt.

Captain Beckon was chosen to run the company when the current leader was unable to fulfill his duties, and as he had a wealth of experience in space borne operations with his independent trader, he was a natural fit to take over.

The Captain immediately sent out scouts to figure out where to dispatch the miners and transports to. Silver and Helium were good bets in Liberty, whilst the jackpot was hit with Niobdium in O-49.
