Neither her father nor her mother would describe her as even remotely lovable - having her first problems with the law barely 12 years after her birth, she caused them nothing but trouble, and although she was smart enough to ensure there never was any solid proof pointing at her about her misdeeds, everybody knew who was responsible for the demolished hovercars, sprayed walls and burned down parks in her block. After she got busted for organizing and running a large Cardamine smuggling ring on New London, her parents promptly disowned her and kicked her out.
Thieving together enough to buy herself a small space shuttle, Ivory set course to Liberty, hoping Manhattan to be a better place to conduct her less-than-legal business. Soon, she found herself being approached by the Liberty Rogues, offering her a "partnership" - but being the independent-minded girl that she is, she dealt with the unfortunate Rogue businessman in a rather violent fashion, and made an enemy more powerful than she could handle. Soon again, she would find herself in the hands of the police, this time for "18 counts of self-defense with a fully automatic firearm".
Striking a deal with the LPI she was sentenced to serving 5 years in a Liberty Marine Corps penal battalion instead of going to prison for the rest of her life, even though it was clear she'd make an escape as soon as possible with all the military gear she could carry. To everybody's surprise, she actually staid in the Corps for a year and a half and got promoted thrice before her inevitable departure (leaving behind a heartbroken quartermaster and an empty armory). Again, she was free to pursue interests unhealthy to those around her.
Eventually, Ivory somehow got herself into the Mercenary business, and quickly became attached to the thrill of it's lifestyle. As in everything that involved shady business and violence, she was brilliantly successful and soon a number of PMCs became interested in employing her. Finding the Reaver Corporation a useful ally on her quest to spread mayhem and murder, she promptly accepted their offer.
