Origins
Sil's origins are relatively unknown to the Humans populating the edge worlds, rumors and speculation point in the direction of the Outcasts. A young and foolish Outcast rookie once set out on a journey to avenge her Corsair-slain Mother and was never heard of again. Sensors indicate her ship was last active inside the Omicron 90 system before she was suddenly swept off the grid.
'Child' Of Two Worlds
Not so much a child as a creation, machine, even of two worlds. A Human base, a research facility, and a Nomad. These ingredients were applied in the creation of Sil. In other words, 'she' is a Hybrid. A mix of Nomad and human DNA and Minds. However, being one of the first hybrids to grace the face of the galaxy does occasionally bring its complications.
Complications
Thanks to certain errors during the Hybridization process exercised on Sil's human body, the Nomad inside had an incredibly difficult time trying to connect to it's host's mind. After a long and tiresome process, the researches responsible for the changes to Sil's human body decided to step in. However, as expected, their 'help' backfired. Just as the Nomad was about to connect, the scientists disturbed it's process and in doing so, mixed up the identities of the Nomad and the human host. Sil was created.
However, the actual complications came later. Studies conducted by the facility in which the newborn hybrid was kept showed remarkable changes in Sil's brainwaves. She showed random mood changes unlike any measured before on a normal human. One moment, she was the most peaceful creature ever to grace the universe, and the other she was the most devastating machine of hatred ever conceived.
After awhile of actual Mindshare activity, Sil learned to 'manage her condition'. Ever adapting, ever learning. Though if one side of her is on the surface, walking around, acting, sharing, thinking, the other will lay in wait. Hoping for the moment it can crawl to the surface.
General Personality
Despite Sil's divided personality, both of her sides do have some common ground. Unlike most hybrids, Sil can occasionally be found amongst Slomon K'hara cults, Spectre operations, or in other places vaguely connected to the Nomad agenda.
Myths Surrounding The Hybrid
Occasionally serving as 'the voice' in certain Nomad sightings or even Nomad assaults on the Omicron region has led to a lot of speculation and hearsay about the Nomad. Some say that she's the spirit of a long lost Outcast looking for a way into the after-life. Others claim to feel a presence when the Nomad's energy signature is detected on the close-range scanners. Again others who have come in contact with this Nomad claim to see a dark haired woman in their every dream. Most stories however point once more to Omicron Alpha. Reports of a holy spirit communicating with one of the Outcasts' previous pilots. Only known by the name of Dgahr, this pilot apperantly serves as a link to the Nomads, and even more, to the Sil Nomad.
