Sorry,Loquas, English is not my primary language, so it's difficult to always keep the Style Guide's strict american form... Yes, I've read it, but unfortunately, i can't do the Firefox download, because this is not my computer - I'm at hospital with an advance laptop in a foreign country - should I stop editing the Discovery Wiki pages?

It's ok. English is not my mother tongue either, but I try hard (as you do) to write understandable text. That means reading and re-reading it before and after I submit it. Your sentences are too long (it's hard to follow what you are trying to say) and grammar is not the best. The spelling errors are easier to correct, but grammatical errors can be hard to spot. Unless you can write understandable text I think it's better for you not to write pages. Sorry if I sound a bit harsh, but it makes other wiki editor's work-amount to go up significantly if we have to read through every single article you write. Well, I said that now. I know you feel hurt now, BUT HOWEVER we need more people on-board and we seriously need a images to the pages. Can you play the FL? Even single player? It would be a tremendous help if you could take it on you to read articles and get pictures for them. Could you do this? Not make articles but go and find (or take pictures) for the existing articles? Take a look for example Hazardous_Areas, Jump Gate and other articles and you'll get the idea. Let us know and we'll get you started with how to do this. Get well soon!

Just go through the articles and see if it needs one. One good place to start is the Commodities and get those small icons for them. Or Since Igiss does not have a lot of space available in the server for wiki please put all the pictures in jpg format and use the thumbnail option (it frames the picture nicely). Just study the pages that have a picture on and you'll get the idea quickly.

Instead of grabbing info from other wikis, please grab it directly from the Discovery files, using a texteditor, Datastorm or some of the other Freelancer tools. There have been many changes and additions since Vanilla, and many things have changed from Vanilla. Ohter wikis will not have this info, and to bring it into here will mean that someone just has to go over your pages again. Thank you.Chovynz 08:08, 21 September 2008 (GMT)

Thanks to you, and all member of the Discovery Wiki community, its an honor... About copying pages; I didn't knew that what I done is a mistake, I will correct it and in the future, I will try to strictly follow the Style Guide, and put my planned edits to to the wiki discussion thread.

This would be just fine, even that I don't have Freelancer here right know... I always loved to play ing single player, so while finishing the campaign for umpteenth time, I can take pictures... (I've had the bluescreen problem for long, but the solution was on the forum, luckily)

So, the Wiki needs picture of:

Hazardous Areas

Planets

What else?

I think hazardous areas a mine field paragraph could have a picture.

I think only one picture per article "object" (like one picture of asteroid field) is enough. It really depends how long the article is and how well the picture(s) fit(s). Pictures should support the text and make it look nice.

NOTE: Don't put any ship pictures in, since wiki editors are trying to get a isometric view (the one like in Odin) in of all ships.

And thank you for doing this. It will be a great help to Wiki. --Looqas 10:23, 19 September 2008 (GMT)
