Description
The National Guard. The largest reserve force of the Liberty Navy to this date. A variety of personnel from civilians, primary fleet potentials & secondary fleet men and women. Those who fail recruitment in the primary fleet, then get a chance to sharpen their skills and knowledge in the National Guard before re-trying for entry.
356 A.S
The National Guard was born with just under two hundred members in the first week. They were on planet Manhattan and acted as a support group for the army. Within fifty years, they had grown to over 10,000 members. The National Guard was recognized all over Liberty.
605 A.S
The National Guard ground forces were now all over every Liberty planet and station. They became flight born two years later and joined efforts with the Liberty Navy. It became as a major participant in defending Liberty air space and supply lines, military and civilian.
800 A.S
The National Guard was stationed on alert for two years during the Nomad War. However the National Guard was not officially informed of the Nomad threat, and was put on a leash by the government to capture and execute rogue Liberty Forces Personnel whilst re-maiming to up keep order and peace in the house.
817 A.S
The National Guard joined with the Navy and Security Force to wage war on the house of Rheinland and the number of civilians signing up each week quadrupled. Even to this date, National Guard personnel support the conflict in Texas defending it to the death.
818 A.S
The National Guard at this present day is a major participant in Liberty's war effort and homeland defense.
