The Battleship Ark Royal is a Bretonian ship overlooking the trade lanes in the Newcastle system. Its primary role is to monitor traffic passing from Newcastle into Leeds and to provide a defence of the installations in orbit at Carlisle. Recently it has also adjusted its outfitting to reflect a new objective - to halt a Kusari assault on Newcastle in the event of the KNF capturing the Newcastle Jump Gate in Leeds
