Prometheum is a rare element that is highly radioactive and chemically unstable. These characteristics have so far prevented its widespread use in commercial applications, but certain private and governmental research laboratories are working to develop it for use in highly specialized power cores and medical diagnostics. The Gallic Royal forces are desperately trying to prevent its export from Gallia.
