Current Day
West Point Academy is currently under-going a major re-work of its core curriculum and has been temporarily closed pending further notice. Little is known to the public about the upcoming changes however Commandant Matthew Evans stated that,
"In light of recent events and this plague of Sirius, war, the Liberty Military has ordered a new experimental and truly ground shaking change to how and what our men are taught. Those enrolling at our prestigious academy and active duty servicemen will all go through this new curriculum, vaulting and holding the Liberty Military as the supreme militaristic force in Sirius."
Rumors from sources inside the Navy state that an entire new cycle of modern warfare is in the making at West Point, possibly revolutionizing the way that wars are fought today. Government and Law Enforcement spokespersons both predict a large increase in the safety and well being of ships traveling through or into Liberty and an utter and complete annihilation or surrender of the Rheinland Military soon if not by the end of the year.
