The Revolt

It was 818, early November. Rufus Wolfgang, and Joseph Tomasso, two rather high security pirates, who had their reign of terror cut rather short by a Hunter Patrol. Both in the same cell onboard the Intruder, a high armored, high security prison liner stationed with a small group of hired mercenary escorts. They were getting fed their regular daily rations, but something went wrong. The two managed to grab the guard as he gave them a set of rations. His fatal mistake sparked a revolt onboard the Liner, with Rufus and Joseph leading it. Cell by cell, they free'd their imprisoned criminal friends, defending themselves with weapons grabbed from guards. After several hours, the rebels managed to breach the bridge, which had a rather large bulkhead. The rebels, after capturing the bridge, scared the rest of the crew of the Intruder into surrendering. The escorts, being natural mercenaries caring only about credits, ended up joining what is now The Society.

UnHumble Origins

A group of mainly disgruntled "Wage Slave" workers, and independent pirates willing to get a bit more organized. But the majority of The Society is made up of the prisoners that were onboard the Intruder. Ironically, some of the old guards that were hired out of private corporations became a part of something they were hired to stop. The old crew, or more specifically, the ones who weren't shot, are now prisoners aboard the Intruder.

Chain Reaction

Joseph and Rufus make the Intruder their mobile base of operations, and retrofit it with tubes allowing for a type of mooring. The Society gains a rough system of leadership, Rufus is at the head, and Joseph takes over as the admiral of his forces. Forces throughout the houses take note of The Society and place bounties on the heads of individual pilots, and a generous bounty on 'Intruder'. Several days later the 'Intruder' is attacked by Bounty Hunter bombers, the ships are swatted by a thick swarm of fighters, the ship sustains no damage. By this point they suspect a traitor is operating on board as they were well hidden in the Barrier Nebula. To try and lure the traitor out, every single person, except for the ones trusted by Joseph and Rufus, are thrown into jail cells, and told they will not be released until the traitor is found. The ship is on high alert, and Rufus begins public executions of random prisoners to try and force the populace to expose the traitor. A prisoner confesses that he knows who the traitor is and promptly gives a name, before he was shot. All prisoners are released, under the pretense that the traitor was killed in the executions. The supposed traitor is tailed, until solid proof is found, and it was. He was seen using a radio to contact elements, and the transmission was traced the Sheffield station. The next day the prisoner was brutally executed in his cell, and all screens on board displayed this, as well as sending the Bounty Hunters a message through the traitors communication relay of the corpse.
