Don Marco was the only child of a wealthy Outcast Don that used to own a large array of food and cardamine plantations, but was charged for income tax evasion and imprisoned. Most of his property was taken away by the Maltese government save for one plantation far away from the great Maltese cities. Marco's father was eventually killed in jail, in a dispute with another inmate that was trying to get a hold of his food rations. When the last will was revealed, Marco was a young boy living with his Godfather in the capital. The last dictated that Marco's godfather would take care of all the remaining Moretti assets until Marco came to the right age and govern it for himself.


His Godfather decided that they would move to the plantation, and restore it to full functionality and start gaining some income. From the last funds saved, his Godfather bought a dozen of slaves that could conduct dangerous work in the cardamine fields and the non-hazardous work in the crops. The plantation flourished for some years, and Marco finally came to age, succeeding it...
