Victoria Class
The Victoria-class Battleship represents the pinnacle of Bretonian technological achievement and military design. The HMS Victoria, first of her class and flagship of Bretonia, was launched in 802 A.S. from Southampton Shipyards, closely followed by her sister ship the HMS Norfolk, and has gone on to become one of the most successful navy designs in history. Victoria is a fortress, city and command centre combined. Her hull is specifically constructed from complicated, layered super-alloys to withstand significant punishment, and her multi-tier energy shielding systems are amongst the most powerful available. Victoria-class Battleships can often be seen acting as mobile command centres, taking control of entire sectors of Bretonian space and coordinating large scale military operations, such as the HMS Hood which is permanently deployed to the Dublin system. Flag officers will typically place their command aboard a Victoria battleship to take charge of fleet operations. In order to fulfil this role, her sensor suites and communication systems are extensive, and she is able to deploy numerous varieties of light craft ranging from fighters to troop transport ships. All Victoria-class Battleships carry large complements of Royal Marines and their assorted equipment.
