The Clytemnestra is an Artificially intelligent and semi-sentient machine created by Mason Hargreaves on Planet Leeds during the Dark Star Syndicate heyday. It was built with all of Kiriko's needs in mind and uses a restored B-294-L Series "Hussar" Bretonia Light Fighter chassis.
Core
The Clytemnestra uses a extrapolation of the "Testament" class artificial intelligence core series. dubbed "Cly" by Kiriko for short hand, it is programmed and updated by its creator without her knowledge to make sure she is safe, well looked after and above all else, Happy.
Testament
The "Testament" Class 'Control Interface and Interaction' chip was designed to be integrated into almost any Bretonian ship instantaneously taking into account their unique interior design and construction. Their strengths and weaknesses recorded, Mass, inertia, velocity, acceleration and providing accelerated control dynamics and flight manoeuvres that are impossible to perform by a human pilot.
The Testament series was designed to help make the pilots lives easier in the vastness of space, however the destruction of the Dark Star Syndicate meant that only one of the many units that had existed still remain active. the unit known as "Cly" is the last remaining AI in the Testament Core series. Mason Hargreaves uses this last remaining unit as a test bed for further development on Artificial Intelligence projects.
Testament Version .3
Testament .3 was an advanced prototype version of the stable .264 core, having 3 times the learning capability and freedom to roam that the earlier .264 version had access to, this version was vastly superior in most ways, acting on kiriko's behalf many times without her making any actions at all.
The most notable and significant action taken by the Cly version .3 core was the admission of Kiriko into the Bretonia Police Authority. Based on a few references Kiriko had made to them and wanting to help people more. The AI determined that Kiriko would be "happy" if granted a position where she could help people as often as she wanted and began to make movements to grant Kiriko’s wish.
With its prime directive to see that Kiriko is happy at all times, 'Cly' V.3 infiltrated the Bretonia Police Data centre using a "hack and slash" algorithm to remove all traces of itself as it downloaded and uploaded itself around the system. It calculated the most likely point when the police ranks would be thinnest and falsified an application for Kiriko Hidamari, changing her appearance on the application image making her seem older than she was to increase chances of success. V.3 changed her date of birth to be an unsusceptible figure, placed the Application on the "Most Promising Candidates" list, gave a full tactical readout of the Hussar she flew displaying all of its weapon systems and operational areas, and provided them with a detailed biography from the time it first was given to Kiriko to the present day. All without Kiriko's knowledge.
When Kiriko was sent a message from the Bretonia Police saying that she had been accepted into the ranks as a Junior Constable police officer, she was very confused; her confusion almost immediately overcame by joy. Being accepted into the police being as old as she was and being Kusarian on top of that was something she never thought possible even in her dreams. Kiriko contacted Mason Hargreaves and thanked him repeatedly for what he had done for her, believing him to be the reason she was accepted, the AI deemed the operation a success.
However due to the AI’s nature, it constantly sends dumps of information and a shortened progress reports back Masons Lab on Planet Leeds to make sure everything was as it should be and nothing had gone wrong. When Mason was contacted by a Kiriko who was crying with happiness, he became alarmed believing her to be upset. After discovering what the Cly T-V.3 had done by going through the dump files and received data logs, Mason became immediately worried about the level of power and freedom that he had granted the AI. When Kiriko next returned to the surface of planet Leeds he made some adjustments to the ship, removing the prototype core version and reinstalling a previous version before it could do anything else that was considered to be extremely risky to both his own neck and to Kiriko’s. The Cly T-V.3 core remains on planet Leeds still, under surveillance by Mason and to perform further testing on it, however the AI is much more intelligent than previous data indicates...
Testament Version .264
The current version and last remaining core of the series, the Cly T-V.264 version is the most stable and reliable build of the 'Cly' Artificial intelligence. It retains a modest ammount of freedom, activly gaining access to present ship communication codes to allow Kiriko to talk to anyone at any moment.
Due to the rash actions of its more advanced self, the .264 core was restricted in its movements somewhat and given more strict guidelines as to what is can and can not do in regard to Kiriko's wishes. It will not divulge any information, images, video or neural net links on any kind of sexually oriented adult content. Also refraining from divulging any information on drug habbits and where to locate any such dangerous and personally harmful materials, in an effort from Mason to keep Kiriko as pure and inocent as possible, and to protect her from the crudeness and vulgar reality of Sirian space life.
