Out of RolePlay, OoRP for short, is when a player on the Discovery Freelancer server "drops" out of the character they are meant to be portraying. OoRP behaviour can be classified into many things, the most common being:
- Using equipment that the character the player is portraying would not have access to.
- Landing on a base that the character the player is portraying would not have landing rights for.
- Attacking factions which the character the player is portraying should not be attacking.
- Using language that is inappropriate to Freelancer Roleplay.
OoRP behavior and language is severely disliked in the Discovery Community. It is recommended to keep OoRP language to private comms if the use of it is unavoidable.
