Within Outcast society, each life is sacred. The Cardamine that opens the mind and elongates life comes at the terrible price of limited reproduction. These circumstances leave no room for error in combat.
Smaller, more agile and capable of complicated battlefield maneuvers, the Sarissa was built upon the need of a comprehensive battle direction platform. Replete with exhaustive communications and projection equipment, each craft is capable of directing the entire course of battle from the most powerful minds Humanity has known.
Handling
- This ship is too large to use docking bays, it must use mooring points.

Review
The Sarissa battleship is a beautiful design, but what makes it beautiful is also what makes this ship a bit unbalanced. It's sheer size combined with the rather medium hull and a medium BS powercore makes this ship somewhat harder to use. But do not get fooled, this ship is quite agile despite it's size, and the Sarissa has quite good strafing speed. Pluss with almost all guns firing in all directions, besides right underneath it, she packs quite a punch. The ship itself, much like the Storta destroyer has one huge blindzone right beneath it. With just 6 out of 15 guns covering it's big fat belly, this ship is in for some real trouble if not well outfitted. But this is what makes her a beauty. I have used full Cerberus setups, solaris, flak cannons, missiles, primaries, secondaries, and with every setup, she performs like it's a walk in the park. Due to her medium BS core, one must watch the energy usage, the best combination of guns used for the Sarissa would be a few cerebrus turrets and the rest basic primaries. With that setup you will deal more damage for just about the same energy usage as if you had used all Outcast Primaries. You should also consider putting a few solarises or secondaries to cover the belly. Seriously, DO NOT let anyone get underneath you at any point, your blindzone there is HUGE.Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination Review by Prysin |
