Overview

Only currently known by his stage name, "Musica" is a Electro Music producer native from Kusari. His reputation is greatly centered on the New Tokyo teenagers, although some of his work have reached the outer reaches of Sirius. His official debut album, Shikoku Blast, was released in 809, when he was merely a teenager himself. Other works followed the next years, some being compiled on some themed albums, such as the adult-oriented "Contact of First Degree" and, the most recent one, Excellence. Although a solo artist and producer, Musica has been and is known for helping on the soundtrack of Kusarian holo-movies. An extravagant himself, Musica is never seen without a helmet - which, however, is never the same - which works as a receiver and visor, depicting emotions in colorful faces for example.

History

Childhood (793-800 A.S.)

Although rarely mentioned, Musica was born during the Nomad War, amongst a rich family who lived on Honshu. His father, a man named of Hitoshi Masaru, worked inside Kishiro Technologies on a good position, leading Musica to a rich and grand childhood. Since birth, the Kusari youngling had all the most expensive toys and clothes, albeit his disconsideration for such.

Was his mother, Momoko, who during vacations in New Tokyo, discovered the son's aptitude for the arts. Musica was five by the time, and on a shoplifting session he grabbed a portable synth-recorder and started poking at whatever keys he could find. Seeing a unseen dedication so far, Momoko bought the synth-recorder, alongside with every sound processing equipment the store had. Little did she know that her move would result into a brilliant future for the child.

The Discovery (800-809 A.S.)

Even though months passed, Musica's curiosity for the equipment was unending, and so the parents of the boy decided to invest into his development into the arts. As a made businessman, Hitoshi had many contacts from the shadiest parts of Kusari to the brightest, and during few months, his team sought for the best artisans. And he wasn't pleased. On the same day the man received word of his workers, he opened a contract with several musicians from Sirius to come and work for him, teaching his son how to use the equipment and the basics of music theory.

They were fired on the same day the first album, Shikoku Blast, was released.

Early Years (809-815 A.S.)

Shikoku Blast was very well received inside Kusari, with a special mention to the tracks Geisha and Superluminal. Despite the release, it was the child's decision to change his name to an artistic one in addition to adding props to his appearances, such as a helmet. Surprisingly, his father backed the decision, using his economical power to make sure records would be erased to allow so. Most belive the reasons he had for his compliance to his son's desire was pride. By shooting music so early into the stars, Musica had made enough money to hire his own team of employees. His music style, mostly composed by electronic bits and sounds, even using some of recorded sounds of ship parts at work, was deemed original, explosive and energetic amongst the teenagers and young adults. During the year of 815 Musica released another album, followed shortly after by a third one.

Contact of First Degree was the result of several shows made by the artist on New Tokyo. Walking straight into adulthood, the influence of women became clear on his own work. In contrast to Shikoku Blast, the album was officially censored to the underaged. The tracks Matter Ejection and Supernova Curves were added to adult stations only.

The following album, eXOdus.3E, again explored the unknown niches of music. It's musics depicted the weird phenomena known around Sirius. Double Slash was exceptionally well received, followed closely on the ranks by Encrypted Toxin, which surprisingly featured two minutes of pure silence.

Recent Rise (815-present)

Musica's last years have been focused on appearances amongst all Sirius. His work, although not so well received as in Kusari, got the attention of several producers on other houses, leading to some, although lower, reputation. The most recent achivement was with Excellence, a music album consisting of three hours of music, divided into five recordings, representing the five Houses of Sirius.

In one additional note, fans found the words "Illusions Never Dismay" hidden on the commercialized casing of the album. Their purpose, however, were never discovered.

Future Plans

On a recent interview, the artist revealed that his plans for the next year or so "Bound the Daredevil-ish".

Whatever he has in store for the public, it's shrouded into rhymes still unclear.

Visual and Style

Since he reached fame, Musica's known to be wearing a helmet whenever he's seen. Some wonder for the whole purpose of the prop, ranging from simple protection of his own face to the conspiracy theories that he is, in fact, not a Kusarian.

Most of the displays on it's helmet usually have a clear function. It's even a common pratice amongst the female fans to discover what music he's currently listening, during what they call "the musical experience" - a night inside the artist room. The fact remains, however, that whatever is the situation and shape, the helmet is always on, full with colorful lights and shaded visors, manufactured by Kishiro Technologies itself.

Alongside the helmet, he is usually seen using whatever new brand of cloth is out, as long as the colors fit with the helmet in question.
