This page has been retired but kept for historical or other reasons, The information on this page may be incorrect, out of date or just not relevant to this version of Discovery. It should not be taken as canon nor any authority on the current version of Discovery. It is kept simply to show some history of the Discovery Mod:
With the introduction of DSCore (25th Febuary 2019) (Discovery Freelancer Version 4.91 Patch 5), Ship statistic pages and Ship pages will not be updated anymore. Or not regularly atleast. They will be kept for historical reasons. DSCore will give you the most up-to-date info you can get about almost everything you need to know about Ship and Equipment statistics.

This page is up to date, as of 3. November 2019, Patch version: 4.91.23. Updated April 2021

Though the Outcasts were rarely inclined to admit flaws, it was undeniable that battles with Gallic forces revealed a gap in their fleets. Though the Ranseur and Sarissa had long provided the devastating firepower required of a battleship, Storta-led patrol groups often found themselves undergunned against Gallic armor.

Marrying the agile frame of the Storta to the heavy plating and firepower of the Sarissa, the Hasta was designed without compromise to face an enemy bent on total conquest. Though the invasion is over, the Hasta's speed, firepower, and armor makes these powerful vessels a vital defensive backbone for Outcast holdings.
