Ibrahim al-Rashid was born on Planet Manhattan in 795 A.S. to immigrant parents, who were from a far away system called Mashriq. His parents mysteriously died when he was 7, and Ibrahim was taken in by his parents' good friend Seung Rhee Nam. He was raised in the ghettos of Manhattan, and led a relatively normal life working as an assistant in Seung's engine shop. While he was not terribly poor, Ibrahim dreamed of a life where he could live in comfort and prosperity. As a young man, he often witnessed the Police threatening and harrassing his friends, as well as his only family, Seung. This, as well as a rumour that his parents were actually murdered by the Navy, led to Ibrahim's distrust for federal authority. When he was 22, however, he signed up for the Navy out of necessity, wanting better financial support for himself and Seung. During his first mission, he came across a crucial and life changing decision when his Captain(Hayden Solonski) asked him to kill a surrendering Rogue smuggler, along with her children who were also on board. Ibrahim refused to obey his orders, and instead opened fire on his own wing, buying precious time for the Smuggler to escape. He followed her into the nearby debris field, losing their pursuers, and proceeded to dock at Rochester base, where he met his future comrades. This was the start of Ibrahim's new life, and his new struggle.
Biography
Rashid(as he is commonly called), is now a Liberty Rogue, who can be sighted in space flying his trusty Werewolf, the Remain Silent, or his new Hyena, the Crippled Acrobat. He is easily distuingished from the general crowd by his tan skin, handsome features, and a neatly tied headwrap he usually wears as he remembers his father once did. Rashid is best described as having "multiple personalities", as sharp observers may note. At times, he is a crude, ruthless, and violent man who seems to be fueled only by his greed for money and his lust for power. At other times, he is a goofy, charming, gentleman of a pirate, cracking jokes at inapropriate times and carelessly picking fights when the odds are clearly against him, all in the name of good fun. Underneath this exterior, however, lies an intelligent, ideological, and cool-headed individual with more interests and emotions than he may let off to his peers.
