Belfast has had a grim and bitter past. Built in 776 S.S, the facility has since been mining resources from the crust of the nearby planet Middlesbrough, albeit under varying owners. When the station was built, it was dangerously close to the already present Mull base. Seeing the risk, and the chance for gains, the Molly command decided to take over the station. Molly agents secretly started applying for and receiving jobs aboard Belfast, ready for the day when they would claim it for their own. In 795 A.S., the Mollys struck. They launched an all-out offensive using whatever forces they had in Newcastle. While fighting raged outside, the agents inside turned on their management and slaughtered them. With the bodies thrown out into space, the Mollys claimed Belfast.
Bretonia attempted to regain the station but lost considerably large amounts of forces in their attempts, eventually giving up after the destruction of their flagship battleship in the system.
It is a core station for La Tene and is the hub of their trade network.
Mull Base
A core station for La Tene. It is rumoured to be a nuclear production facility.
