Tidy up the wiki

  • Start using the Server specific template on pages which need it.
  • Work on the sleeper ship pages.
  • Do something about Template:NPC Faction to make those bad links based on the template name go away.
  • Remove pages from all unnecessary categories. When they're empty, put a deletion proposal on the category page, if it already exists.
  • Rename templates so that they use correct spaces, grammar, etc. Instead of having some templates with 'Nicely typed out names like this', and others with 'SomeNameLike_This'.
See the google doc spreadsheet to help with this.
  • Change all template transclusions and links to use spaces instead of underscores. Isn't really necessary and wont change how pages are displayed, but looks better so we might as well do it eventually.

  • Get Blodo or Cshake to add ShakeBot to the bots group. This is a trivial task that does not really need to be done, but we might as well have all the legitimate bots marked as such.
  • Re-organise file names completely - naming conventions for everything. Maybe have the ship pages use the name that the content generator expects, excluding the -s? This is complicated by the fact that we have over 3,400 uploaded files, and we probably don't want to break people's links to files.
  • Make a sort of 'category tree'. Sort of like the CategoryTree extension, but it'd be nice to see all the top-level categories.
  • Make the Vector theme work like the current modified Monobook one.
  • Delete unused files - it may be hard to reach a consensus on what to keep and what can go.
  • Block as many accounts that have been used to spam as can be found.
