Lee Mays[or Markie,as his Friends call him]was born on California Minor on April 3rd,784 A.S.He worked as an Ageira loading bot programmer until on Cali Minor 810 A.S.,when he and his coworkers quit due to the horrible work conditions,and purchased the Dromedary class freighter LAST HOPE.he was then named de facto captain because of a need for leadership,and they have worked as freelance traders ever since.
