Avery was sure that he wanted to join the LSF later in his life to fight the ever present unlawful threat in Liberty.He was a brilliant man, maybe not the best fighter pilot in Sirius, but he knew how to draw a battleplan and how to apply tactics in the field. His father recommended him for a job in the LSF, but Avery never liked the prospect of sitting behind a desk all day long. He wanted to be out there in the fray, to stare the enemy in the face and to pull the actual trigger instead of ordering other people around.
