The Defender is fast, handles low level weaponry pretty well, but is otherwise outclassed by just about everything as she is only able to mount a class 4 shield and has a mere 1600 hull points... a single volley could easily destroy the ship.  But the Defender is not without her hilarity values!  Load up the guns with the best pulses you can cram on, put in a mine your powerplant can handle and slap on a torpedo, the Starkiller should do nicely and watch the fun. With a full pulses on your main guns you can take a shield down in a couple passes and a torpedo should kill a VHF in 3 or 4 solid hits.  While impractical, it is funny. Just do not expect this ship to last long outside Connecticut.}}
