Further investigations showed plasma combustions which could only be triggered by weapons. Since this day, Volker swore to take revenge on those who killed his grandparents. In the same year, a police patrol discovered a hidden base located in the Westnebel in Stuttgart. The whole police squad got fired upon and destroyed by [[LWB]] ships. After the emergency signal of the police patrol reached the RNC-Schiller, Volker ordered his helmsman to take course on their last known position. After arrival, he saw the remains of the police squad and some [[LWB]] ships nearby. Volker ordered to fire immediately. The [[LWB]] were surprised and could not react fast enough. Some of them decided to flee and could escape. But their base don't had luck on this day. After a few minutes the structural integrity failed and many people tried to leave the outpost by rescue capsules. It is believed that the following explosion ripped over 300 persons into death. It is also said that Volker himself fired at the rescue capsules and killed all survivors of the destroyed Rodgau outpost. Volker has never mentioned this incident in his personal reports.
