This vessel is amongst several new developments by engineers claiming to work for a resurgent Coalition. The Partisan, as it is officially named, follows Coalition philosophy, being of a cheap to build, yet rugged construction. However, having minimal armour allows it to function as a responsive, finesse-based light-fighter. The few witnesses that have survived attacks by these vessels have nicknamed them 'Imps', referring to the hellish sound of Coalition guns and engines.
