Well, aside that I dislike the render itself, I suppose what you did was an enhancement of the fire effects - I'd like to see the original render to see exactly what have you done.
Otherwise, the composition is quite simple... I'd note the words on top aren't very easy to read - maybe because of the glow and the color of the font which are so close to that of the background.
The border you created kinda makes me a bit annoyed, or rather, the fact that most of the picture seems "bleached" while the border seems to be using the color the composition should be using. I'd suggest maybe a difference in the contrast level instead of lighting.
I manipulated the basic render by duplicating multiple copies and overlaying them on top of each other as well as using various filters and layer styles to achieve an effect which I think the major render blends well. Aside from this I haven't used any external effect renders as I thought the ones in the original were adequate.
Maybe "bleach" isn't quite the word I'd use to describe it. I've already improved its depth and focus by techniques such as dodging and sharpening. Also, multiple adjustments and corrections were made to increase contrast and vibrance without being too intrusive thus making the viewer's eyes tired. If the brightness was to be decreased then it would lose its clarity and shine.
The border is a twist on the basic stroke 50% as I couldn't think of a more appropriate border to fit this signature. I'd admit the text is difficult to read.
I no longer have the cropped render but the original picture can be found
here. I don't choose renders based upon their content but rather their potential to flow well and suit my needs in a signature.
It's always nice to see constructive criticism.
Guys, have you ever focused on making huge things?
For example, this all looks grand but doesn't put you up to level with a designer designing vinyl for cars or trucks or anything bigger.
Did you try to scale your designs to 2-3m wide or tall or did some things like that?
I always admire the epic design of signatures here but I always find it difficult to design something near as good as the things I do on sigs when it comes to designing for large materials. I find myself limited in resources.
Norexan i have made your wallpaper into a render.
You can make use of it if you want. It is
Here
It is a PNG image which means it has a transparent background, so you can
add your own effects behind the render or place it onto a different stock image.
This will work well if you set the render layer to screen, and adjust the b/g Layers.
Enjoy.
Thanks Waratah for the render, I'm sure it'll come in handy at some point.

Nice. Job. Looks good. There's tons of renders on the net for that image but cool nontheless. Only thing I have to comment on is around her right (right for us, not her) hip. Small cuts there. Can easily be made invisible though through the use of filters or anything for that matter.
Promptly ignoring my question?:D
I'd do, if I could. Well I didn't try so far, but I doubt it would end good:P
The biggest Thing I am planning is to make a massive Picture for my empty Wall.
I would like to see some of that work submitted, or someone's attempt to do something big that's not vectored.
I often thought i can use internet to cover my ass when it comes to some vinyls, but i found out that it's far from the truth.
